well, its done. we didn´t had much time for more speecific info like the guys of GT300 did, but that´s mainly because we had a lot of cars to test...

(It even has a page border! Therefore it must be better!)
 
Well, no report came from here, only data about laps and laps and laps with the cars. Nuvolari took care of all the reporting from GT300...

He's a cientist.... I only try to drive the cars...:sly:

What would be a nice addition is a sort of arcade-style relative measure of the different performance aspects. Either like bars or just numbers.

ie.

gearbox:      --------------------------95%-

Because sometimes you say "this is the best car, except for <something>" and it would be cool to know how similar the aspects of performance line up among the various models.

If at all possible, I'd like to change my preference for driving class to GT500, instead of either...
 
Phase Two GT300 Car testing results:

Addendum regarding phase two testing, which was quick and dirty:

Recommended Honda S2000 LM '01 horsepower setting is 327 bhp. Weight to Power ratio at 327 bhp is 3.21:1.

The Honda Type R Touring Car '02 is undriveable.

The Mazda6 Touring Car '02 is almost as bad as the Honda Touring Car.

The Mitsubishi FTO '97 could be considered for the GT300 class with horsepower set at 342 bhp, which is almost the minimum. Weight to Power ratio is 2.87:1 at that setting. Strange but thatÂ’s how it came out. I think the FTO has a vacuum shifter out of a '46 Chevy.

I wouldn't mind a bit if anyone would like to confirm these findings. Testing was done at both Motegi Super Speedway and at Midfield Raceway, with gearing set only at 260 kph and only with medium tires. Driving style was smoothness and consistency and the cars were held inside the bumpers.

Okay, based on my qualifying times and the number of qualifyers in each class, I'll go ahead and change my selection of class from "either" to GT300. Gives me better seeding for a "good" car, right? :^)

Sorry mate. I didn't check my e-mails yesterday, I'll give it a look now.

I also think it would be unfair for myself to go into GT500 after having driven all the cars, so can I go in GT300 too with SHig? :sly: :lol:
 
Updated. Now has a heading as well as a border, and a few other notes from myself! This has to be the greatest report in the history of the world....

cool, just checked now... i liked the 8 trillion score... might be even more... wow, just like that we got to 9 pages. and i thought i was not going to pass 2 pages or so... now its all good until the season starts and somebody says: "damn, my car is so weak, who were the *** that tested those cars?"
