I'm done qualifying already!

This track is very easy to get smooth, consistant and fast (for me). I did some prelim quali times with +4,+3,+2 weight earlier in the week anyway, and managed to knock .2 off my +2 time yesterday. But then hit the wall where I couldn't get any faster consistantly.

Started tyre testing!

I HAD finished qualifying over a week ago, then last night I went to extract the replay from the mem card, only to find that I had accidentally deleted it along with a load of others I was clearing off the card the other day!

To say I was a little mad, is an understatement!
Anyway 12:00 midnight there I was, cursing and raving, beating myself up for being bloody stupid and started the laps again.

Within 5 mins had a lap .1 behind what I did have, 23 mins of more cursing etc as I hit the occasional wall, missed the odd apex, missed a gear-change and hit the limiter etc,etc.

Then the magic lap popped up!

Not only did I beat my previous time, but got the whole lap so sweet that I lopped nearly half a second off!

So maybe it was worth it, afterall.

New time sent to Eats! 👍

More than happy, but I'm sure it won't trouble the guys with more power and less weight. This is DEFINATELY a horsepower track, what with over 80% of it being full throttle!

Anyone got any ideas about how many laps to the race?

I reckon 34!

It's about 2.5 seconds slower a lap round here than it was last race, and that was 35 laps with 59-60 minute finishes in GT300.

So 2-2.5 secs slower X 34 + 4 pits is about right I think!
