JGTC S3 Round 3 Race + Results

Uhm, so yeah, I didn't quite get up from my nap early enough. I just now finished my first, and extremely crappy race. No choice but to submit. My fastest lap is basically a full second faster than ANY other lap I did, not a good sign. I also love how I got another 10 second penalty on the last lap. No, I do not regret using the limiter, but yes, I do regret not putting enough time into the race. It bugged me though!

Well ,I did submited my race time,but I didn’t knew about the new Rules....
I’ve used :
Driving Options
Penalty : Speed limiter on
Difficulty : +9

I did several minutes of tire testing,and i’ve chosen RS at the back and RM at the front. 4 stopper worked perfectly for me.
I do really like this Race and it is not so hard to pass trought the AI’s as that, if you get the right places 4 it .:sly:

I’m really curious to see the results,here.:)

I just tried to email my submission on my laptop and it wouldn't send. I haven't used my laptop in almost a year, and I didn't know the email didn't work. I just sent a little quick non full submission on my desktop... Hopefully it made it? Probably not. Damnit! Full submission with replay included coming soon, hopefully you'll accept it.

Time sending format looks like shiat but yeah it's in. Should normally send it back and say "Wrong sending format, invalid time". :lol:

:ouch:, that would hurt... Just sent in the proper version with replay attached. I had like a millisecond to write that email. When my computer loaded that the message was sent it was already past deadline. :dunce:

Almost 4.00 a.m in the morning here.I'm a litle tired.I think I will sleep a couple of hours while you prepare the table with the results.
Is that possible to post our time after the deadline time ends?
If I get an answer in 10/15min. , I'll post mine,If not I'll have to see the table tomorow.:cool:
 
I'm of the opinion that we can. There's no reason not to, and we've done it before, and he's never said that we can't.

I did a 1'01'07.268 or some crap. Fastest lap was a 1'33.188. Dismal result.

Ohh, not as dismal as mine!

1:02'01.932 total, with a best lap of 1'33.295. My main problem was a crappy tire strategy that caused me to run a last lap on all red tires and spin several times throughout the race. Running more than once might have solved that. :dopey:
 
Hey eats, I was going ask you this on MSN, but you're never on, so I'll ask here. Do I get a 10 second penatly for being late last week? I'm under the impression that I do, but could you or well, anyone, confirm this.

We have not seen all the results yet...
The Toyota is very good at this track...
I've tried it in qualify and I did a better time with it.
I have to say that I've spent a lot of time at Mónaco this Week,hehe.
Probably my favourite track on GT4,and in the real life too.
I managed a 2 and a half minutes with my Renault Mégane,last holidays there,lol.
 
Dayum, nice race there Ricfight! I knew the S2000 at this track was a great combo, but I wasn't expecting it to be so fast!

Which Toyota did you spend time in? There is more than one toyota competing... And for what it's worth, the S2000 is easier on tires than the Altezza, and I couldn't maintain fast laps with the Altezza because of the harder tires on front. The S2000 was a little better at this track in race mode I think.

On Race I didn't try,but on qualify I did better with the Altezza.
1'28.8xx with weight at 0%.
I think the chicanne is the kee 4 it. A smooth brake before it just untill 2nd gear and then a quick change to 3rd to get out of it.
The U turns I do them almost without accelerating.

P.S.-Sorry about my English,I know it is not the best.

I'm about 30 sec. behind :( ... best lap was only :32.xxx
4 pits ... tried the 8 pit thing and was 40 sec. slower
Like I've said all along, love the track for it's history, not my speed :ouch:
at least I broke the hour barrier :dopey:
Given the amount of work that Eats' has to do, I've never expected to see results the day we're submitting .... I've seen the job he does :crazy:
I have a hard enough time just getting a decent time in, never mind dealing with the lot of us :rolleyes: :lol: :D :D

I know, I know.... inquiring minds want to know :)
 
55'07 guys. Would have got a 54 if not for the last corner 👎. Best lap around the 1'23.5 mark.
 
Awesome result Casio! Figured that the oversteery RX might be fast around these tight corners. Now have a little weight! :^)

55'40.085, best lap was a 1'24.4xx, Cote, is not my favourite track :(

oh an only (!) 4 pit stops...

That's a really fast time man!

You got me, by less than .2 of a second. and Drew by .01 more!
Mind you, you have more Hp and less weight. Not taking anything away from you, honestly.
Just making myself feel better, I put at least 15 hours into this race what with re-starts @3/4 through and all.

I got a 59'25.416, with a fastest lap of 1'32.092.

RM/RS all race with 3 pitstops only! Yup, you read it right 3 pitstops!

9/9/10 & 9 lap stints.

Nice tight racing there guy!
