I really wanted to race this week, but obviously not enough. I'm pretty strong on this track, so I'm pretty pissed at myself. I figured out the strategy that I was going to use earlier in the week, but ended up going south to the two universities down there for the weekend and some partying... Then, today, when I got back, I forgot I was supposed to get a race in, and by the time I realized it, I had basically ONE hour to do a full, clean race in. After messing up with the AI, because which cars I started with this race made a HUGE difference, I gave up after it became the equivalent of 8:01 EST.

Well, part time is part time for a reason right? No harm, no foul, unless there's an expected entrance percentage (of which I know of none...).

Anyway, just under an hour after submission deadline...

Nope no problem at all with part-timers not submitting, like I said in the beginning you race when ever you feel like it. You're the ones flushing your chances to be a championship contender not me. :)

I know I know... :( That's why I'm pissed, because I'm sure I could've done at least somehwat decently, even if I only squeezed in one race...

submitted a 56'58 with a drive through penalty and a spin as well, did 5 pit stops, really didnt get the hang of this track this time around... crash and burn for me...:(

Don't have my info at work with me but I was at 1'00:32.909 I believe. Forget my hotlap.
 
Nearly 22.5 hrs after deadline and no results, so no weights therefore no way of running any valid qualifying times!

I know my race weight... :sly: Don't think I'll be doing any qualifying though, well, maybe an hour or so, but I have BC6 to deal with now...
 
OK eats, that'll be a 60 second penalty for you young man. We're not going to tolerate laziness...you will be permanantly banned if this type of behavior continues. Sorry to be so stern, but you must learn to play by the rules...this is not grade school mister, this is serious grown up stuff..mkay!!
 
Well, as I see it, Drew has a point. OTOH, if everyone got off their duffs and posted like a few have, we'd already know the results. I'm sure everyone has already checked in to see if they were posted.

If we'd all preemptively post, we'd be done by now!

Shouldn't have too. I wouldn't mind so much, as long as we get the extra days to put into qualifying. Like Neil said, we can't qualify because we don't know the weights. At least when the qualifying results are late we can still race.

At the moment we're only really getting 4-5 days to qualify.
 
Yeah, true that... I don't want to seem ungrateful, but I've been spoiled with WRS results posting. I do only have limited qual and race time and being committed to run full time, it's tough when there are wasted opportinities.

Yo eats, is there a way that you can reschedule weekly deadlines to where you can turn around results in an hour or so? At least raw unofficial results pending verification so we can at least have the chance at regular weeks? I HAD time to qualify this evening, but I didn't cuz I couldn't know for sure what my weight would be...

OR, maybe we could add/remove the penalty weight for the following RACE only, and not for the following qual? Sure, it'd somewhat deaden the impact of your race results, but at least we could get a jump on the following Qual/Race regardless of whether or not the final times are posted.

Might be a good compromise...

Well,it seems EV4L got bored with us,maybe because of the small number of times submited....
Anyway,BC6 is arriving and the time don't wait 4 us...
Are we gonna have the results ? ,or You'll give us a time extention for the next qualifying ?

Hmm...my problem this week is that I effectively have only tonight and tomorrow night left to run a qualy, as I'm in London from Thursday evening to Monday with no PS2.

In the test season, results went up about an hour after the deadline. In S1 it was more or less the same in the beginning. Now we're waiting up to 3 or 4 days sometimes for results. Mr. Viper, with utmost respect to your efforts and your busy RL, could we please guarantee at most a 24 hour turnaround on results? It's becoming a bit of a problem it would seem.
 
Yup, bordering on ridiculous... C'mon guys, POST YOUR TIMES fer chrissakes... I know you shouldn't have to, but something needs to happen.

Eats never let us down before, unless a good and valid reason was behind it. I'm sure something has happened to justify this absence. I just hope this time is not that serious...:indiff:
 
Sorry, wayyyy too much crap going on in real life to be up to date. Now I guess you understand why I decided to move down from GT500 to GT300 to better host this thing and even there I'm only barely able to race + manage.

I'll seriously try to be on time for the next rounds, doing all I can not to make you guys wait. Sorry again boys. :guilty:
