RULES : Standard online racing rules for clean racing applied when ever possible.

Race :

Minimum of 2 wheels on track
Rumble strips are part of the track
No intentional AI contact
No wall riding
No wall touching
No short cutting
No cheating of any kind

Since this is a semi-enduro format (just under 1h each round) we can’t really ask for 100% error free races. But you must still follow the same basic rules layed down for qualifications and use them when ever possible. Since you are racing with other AI cars little incident may occur and result in an excursion off the track, those are normal racing battles. Passing another car should always be done with caution and fair play just like in real life.

WTF is up with Juan Montoya doing going to NASCRAP!! He'd better not look foolish, that's all I gotta say. What next, Jeff Gordon to Ferrari F1!?

lol you saw Indi GP? There was a Gordon interview and he said he'd be down for the try if asked. :) He already tried an F1 car in the past but just for fun.

Yeah, I watched taht interview. I doubt he's in good enough shape to jump right in though...

Strange days...

Last week I made a try on Suzuka with 28 laps.I thought that with much stronger cars we can make one more lap and it can be still under the 1-hour barrier.I found out 4 different strategy for the race but I was wrong.Nothing happened, will try them on wednesday with some little modification on stints.
Have some ideas about it.
I run for the +10 percent weight penalty. That means that I am good enough.:sly:
And something else: my hopes came reality:when I started JGTC I thought that sometimes, somehow I can be on the podium in this group of great drivers and a couples of hard but clean races. Now I have three podium finishes.
That's how dreams come true.:)
I hope next season I'll be in a team with one of you, guys.👍

Well, gonna be busy the rest of this week, so my first race'll have to be my last. Gonna submit as soon as I can burn the .max file.

Good luck all! Surprisingly smooth race. Can't say I have much left in it.

real life has been busy these days.

can´t even read the threads anymore.

only time for one race, almost no time for anything else. i hope i can get my schedule sorted out in the upcoming weeks:tup:

I've run it twice, a 3 pit and a 4 pit. The 4 pit was fastest, but I was also running about 1.5 seconds a lap faster then the 3 pit. Amazing that by changing my line a bit, attacking a few corners differently, and getting comfortable with the course I picked up that much time...yes my HP and weight were the same. Think I'll run the 3 pit again.

Ran it 3 times, twice tonite. 2x 3 pit and 1x 4 pit.
The 4 pit was def faster overall, and resulted in a faster fastest lap too!

No spins, no penalties!

Hated the bloody Alfa as usual, but coped.

Time sent to Eats.

Off to the British Superbikes at Knockhill, Scotland in the morning. camping overnight, hence the early submission.

Later Dudes, and have fun!

Neil

Time submitted, used 4 pit strategy. Last season came in second at Suzuka, don't think I'll do that again!! I used to hate Suzuka, but it has a real nice rythem once you learn the line and braking points. Looking forward to Deep Forest, love it...hey eats how about doing it in reverse :)

I'm back!

Bloody knackered, badly sun-burned, aches and pains all over from sleeping on a soft airbed & walking miles and miles around a track with severe elevation changes, dehydrated and skint!

Bloody loved it! :)

Fantastic racing, watched two-stroke 125's (I love the smell of two-stroke oil in the morning), 1000cc super-stocks x 2, 600cc super-sports, Yamaha R6 cup, and two superbike races!

Sweet! Speaking of bikes... I hung out with my big money sister and her fiancee last night and this morning... He has an '01 CBR 929... And I rode it. Holy ****!!!! Coming from a couple months of riding on my '06 Ninja 250... Man that thing's pointless! Major excess of power for the street. Not even funny, just insane. Made me feel like I was in an amusement park with the insane G-forces it put on me. Tons of fun though... Now it feels like my 250 isn't running right, hahaha.

Shower real quick, then I'm on to get another race in before I submit. Should be able to take some more time off of my previous two stints... Will be a four stopper...

Time submitted 👍

A consistantly fast run this week, but 2 bad spins cost me about 20 seconds :( Good luck everyone

Started another race earlier, but I haven't played GT in a week or so and the AI were giving me problems... So I gave up. Time being submitted right after this post.

I DID have a scare and almost ran out of gas on my third stop. Had 1 (!!!) out of 80 liters of fuel on board!!!

Feel pretty damned good about the time considering the time put in.

How'd y'all do?

-SHig

Wait till the results Shig. It'll blow your mind :sly:

How'd y'all do?
If the results were posted, I'd know! :P

Did a mild 57.32.947. A 57 flat was probably doable for me if I did a few more races, the AI was annoying though, more so than normal for I.

Bah. I can't wait until the results to rub it in! :sly:

Would have been some what faster. Had I had realized what lap I was up to and took RS/RS instead of RM/RS when I pitted with 3 laps to go... (Which was also an fantastic miscalculation)

Neil

53'41.107, with some of THE ugliest racing i did all season, dropped at least 30 seconds in that race though dumb ****, and off track excursions... :ouch:

was slower on my first set of RM's then i was on the RH's!!! dropped around 15 seconds in the first 6 laps alone :s

Aw crap! I know I lost about 20 seconds to 2 spins, but it looks like I've lost the ability to drive fast or something :( Having a really terrible season :irked:

Nice one Eric!

Shows that Suzuka is a real P/W ratio track. What with all the long straights and elevation changes.

Off to pool!

Extra match this week.
