Would more folks care to share their time?

Perhaps we should all refer to the "why race series fail" thread?

Sorry Kyle, I didn't realise it was a prob for the rest of the season. I was, humourously I might add, calling you a pu$$y! I thought you might have caught that one matie!

WOOT! That big power really must've had you FLYING at the end of the straight! Great result man! That fast lap is just slower than my QUALY lap, and on 2 grades harder rubber... Sheesh...

👍

:dunce: Hahahaha, I feel like an idiot! Yeah, I've been much busier these past month and a half than I was when we started the season. I don't get to play GT4 more than 2-4 hours a week for the most part, and that's just not enough time for what I want to put into this series and the WRS. I figure that it's not good to steal fastest qualification points when I can't even put in a good race... Possibly something that others have thought about, but maybe not. Anywho, this way I don't have to worry about trying to submit anything for here, and can dedicate my limited time to the WRS.

:ouch:
I had the same problem as Casio had.My controller died,I had serious problems with right hand turns. Now bought a brand new one...
I'm a little bit disappointed.:indiff:

So now we are just waiting on Eats in the 300 class (7 total, who qualied excluding Kyle who isn't running anymore)
and
in the 500's, Casio, M3T and Shockwave to post.

Maybe the weight pen thingy will look like this for both classes, as there is only gonna be 7 (maybe) entrants per.

What ever happens, excluding Eats having a complete brain fart and trying to drive round backward, I am last! I shouldn't be happy about it, but the weight-loss will be helpfull. (At least that's what the doctor tells me anyhow)

Thanks man 👍 For some reason I've always been fast here, I think it has to do with my approach to the final sector, but without split times I guess we'll never know ;)

BTW I was clocking around 293kph just before the braking zone for turn 1.

Neil, I'd be glad to change times with you, I could really use a -5 weight reduction, especially at the fast Toyko course.

For the record, Casio already chimed in that his controller died and couldn't run...

Also from history, with 7 submissions, it's +3,+2,+1,0,-1,-2,-3. I WISH it were always 5 max gain/loss, but a win at a race with few submissions is always a big advantage (if you're already less than +5). OTOH, I've been at +10 FOREVER! Grr... Looks like I may get down to a WHOLE 9%!

Thanks Shig!

Forgot that Brad's controller died. So that means only two more to post from 500's.

And I agree, your progression might be right, a little wishfull thinking on my part maybe.

It would help if Eats pulled his finger out and got the official results posted soon.

I have it on good authority that M3T has beaten my time, but not fasj's. So all that's left to go is one (perhaps) GT500 and eats himself. Though at this point I say he's outright DQd! :^)

Updated!

Hey Neil, just got home and checked my time, not that it will make any difference but it's 59'47.475. What I told you earlier was my best guess, 5/100ths. of a second off. Wish you wouldn't have spun out, I really need less weight at Tokyo.

guess my strategy for the remaining races will be good. i won´t be heavy until the end of the series.:)

sorry shig:sly:

You may be light, but you're in one hell of a hole! Come and get me big guy. :sly:

Two days plus and checking in only twice with no results, updates, or explanation is inexcuseable.

I WANT TO QUALIFY DAMMIT! Give me the respect and information that I need to do so. Don't care about stats and details right away, I can wait for that, but I need to know how much weight to add to COMPETE.

Weak sauce...

Besides, it's an unfair advantage to YOU, eats, since you KNOW what your weight is, so you COULD (though I'm not saying you will) put in qualy time while we all swing in the breeze.

NOT cool...

-SHig

Agreed. This is getting silly and fustrating. I'm generally quiet about these things but at 2 days things are getting out of hand.

I hope this gets sorted out soon.

Someone should take the series over temporarily till Ev4l shows up. Let's finish this season. Only 3 races to go !

Did my quali runs with 2 different weight settings. It's NOT a big deal, btw !!!

Okay, I'll do it! Everybody back to their stock weight and power... heh...

I did a qualy run last night assuming a -1% weight based on provisional results and shed 0.7" so I'm happy about that. Still, probably a second or more off of pole.

-SHig

I like your idea Scott...but I doubt we'd get a concensus. Something must have happened to prevent eats from posting......I hope nothing too serious. It's like kids, you get sick worrying where they are ,then when they showup in one piece you're madder then hell at them.

Dang, it's 10:00 PM EST(about 43:00 PM in Europe) and there are 5 JGTC drivers online....and nobody else.
