tell me what racing series you have seen, where they stop 5 times in a 40-50 lap race?

ive tried karting in a friends competitive kart, and my high speed runs on the higway
but nothing professional

Ahh that might explain it, the BMW is more stable on the bumpy surface there. Try it out at Midfield if you have a chance and let me know if your results are the same.

a smart cookie should go and test their cars, across the available tyre range, then compare that to the lap times + the time spent in the pits to see what tyres will be the fastest way through each race... i know i will, just to get a bit of a stragtegy as to how fast i can go, oh and this isn't directed at you hOt6o4bOi, i just needed someone to quote, and you were near enough the bottom of the last page... :p

well, lets remember we are playing a game, so its not 100% real... heck we don´t even have damage...

but, with the new tire rule, things will be different, so people will go away from the usual soft aproach, so you don´t have to worry that much:tup:
 
Re: Corvette and BMW, I tested on GVE, and for sure the BMW and 'Vette were a second or so behind the group of fastest cars that I drove. I agree that the BMW would have the stability advantage on a twisty course, but acceleration and top speed were lacking for sure. The C6s handling wasn't that good for me, and it ATE tires...

Give the M3 50 more HP and we'll talk... :^)

First: You can't have the Calsonic Skyline. If you bothered to read the thread, you'd know you can't have it, as no two GT500 drivers can have the same car.

Second: The deadline for a full-time drive was about 2 weeks ago.

Third: You don't apply to race here, this is a car draft for registered racers. Amazingly, you apply in the application thread

get your facts straight first, please. :)

now that that's been cleared up, could i please have the Loctite Zexel GT-R (the NISSAN, NOT the HONDA. I CAN SEE THAT HAS BEEN TAKEN, I AM NOT BLIND!) :lol:

I suggest taking it to PMs, and make sure you've read through each of the threads(that'll be a good day full of reading), and spend some time doing the pre-season challenges, and then submitting your times to Eats, and then waiting for his opinion on which class you can run in. But, before you do that, you might want to just PM him with the simple question if you can join in, AFTER we've already started everything. This is a very tightly run series, and if you don't make it on time, that might just be too bad. You can't join a race in real life after it's started, can you? This series simulates real life racing, as well as it can anyway... All thanks to the awesome person we call Eats.

Thanks, I wanted to take an "exotic" car because I'll making it for the fun, I already tested it and that's true BMW is slower but easy to drive, the only race I did up to now was the first WTCC race and I finished last, we will see where I'll finish in this compo ;)
