Racing class to use?

I voted down for anything. As I really am. However, if I was the decision maker I'd want to run both 300 and 500. Suffice to say, I am not and therefore it is not my decision. Any decision you make eats I will support 100%.

Anything with 4 wheels, and that's optional!! 100,300, 500, 8000, 12,000,000, I really don't care....Lets Race!!!

I voted for anything. All of the JGTC cars are fun to drive, so HP doesn’t really matter. :sly:

I voted for 500's, but to be honest, I wouldn't care, as long as we are racing!

I voted for the 500's cos I like the extra power!

i really really really want to join this series yet am still on the waiting list why can't i be approved so i can race thats all i want to do is race in this great series is it becuase of my age...15? trust me im not immature and i understand that losing is just part of racing and i give you a 100% garuntee that i would not drop out nor would i ever cheat so can you please explain to me why i can not be apporved?

I would say that your lack of an approved replay device (Maxdrive,AR-max,Sharkport etc), and questions asked in the past about the validity of your times (which have never been answered), would have a great deal to do with it!

Simple answer! Get a Max-drive so you can prove your times, just like the rest of us have had to.

Also a little punctuation, and formatting in you posts may help too! : ;) :
(sorry for butting in Eats)
Neil

Also dropping out of the DTM looks bad, especially after a suspicious time went unanswered. Eats is very careful not to approve people that drop out of series and like Neil said, when you don't answer questions concerning submitted times a big red flag comes up. I'm not saying that's his reasoning, but I've raced with eats enough to know what he looks for and expects from drivers. His series are very tightly regulated, you can't get away with things like you can in the current DTM series.

Ditto the sorry from Neil eats, just trying to answer his questions.

I didnt even realise they qeustioned a time of mine in the DTM and i missed the past few weeks becuase my firend is moving very soon and wanna spend some time with her before she leaves. i will go take care of the questioned time in the DTM right now. I just dont have the money to buy a replay system i have a digi cam thats the best i can do untill i find a new job. I fixed the DTM time and like i said the RL has taken a toll on what i could race for the past 2 weeks. The DTM issue was my bad seeing as i accidently ran the wrong AI setting.

I'm for either class there Boss 👍
though I have a feeling you're leaning towards 500, I'm cool with that :)
Don't expect to find a podium in either, so it's a moot point with me.

Reasons the 500 series have been stated in other post. More drivers in one class; hence having something of a field at the end. The more horsepower will maybe attract the "fast" guys that dropped out last year... names left unsaid...

Those above have said it best, so long as we're racing 👍

ahem.... Racefan ?
Granted, as Andy and Neil have said, it's Eats' place, the three of us are never shy about pointing out the obvious.... If you check the postings in DTM you'll find something in there about "reputation". We, all of us, have had RL come and bite us in the butt ! I'm a perfect example of it. It's how it was handled that makes the difference. This is a "small world", GTP, life under a microscope as it were. The lack of your response to our ?'s, to your moderator and fellow competitors, is what has caused the raised eyebrows. All we have to judge you on is what you have done in the past, and frankly, it leaves some of to wonder what you would be like in a much more "disciplined" series... We love this series 👍 Eat's is a great moderator 👍 The worst feeling in this series is having a partner leave :ouch: This is very much a TEAM event, the personal victories and Championship is secondary. Too many of us had a teammate leave last season, and have no desire to have a repeat of that.

So, Eat's may be watching, waiting and thinking. That's his job, and one we respect him for. When he's ready, he'll respond to your request in an honest and honorable way. That's the type of man he is.

You brought the ?'s upon yourself. Be patiant (sp)

yea i understand what you guys are saying and i found/admitted my mistake by getting confused about the AI in that series at the time and i messed up i respect eats alot (even though i dont know him well but his series seems to be one of the best). i apologised (sp) for my mistake (we all make them sometimes) and just hope everyone on here will forgive me for it so that i can participate in this season of the JGTC. As for the RL getting involved I always do my 100% best to get a time in altough it may not be my best effort seeing as i only ran the race maybe once but I always do my 100% best to not allow the RL to interfere to much.

As for your statement about teams of all the series i have raced in only ONCE has a teammate of mine ever been active in that series (GTPLMS, Delfino is my teammate) i knowing what its like to work on a race all week then have your teammate let you down i would never abandon a teammate.

Umm...replay device is not mandatory for JGTC. After tossing away my money on a MAXDrive that doesn't work I for one ain't buying another one :)

Maybe it's because I haven't competed in the team event for the past 2 seasons, but I wouldn't classify the JGTC Driver's Championship as secondary. It's the same as F1, where if anything the Constructor's Championship (Team Championship in JGTC terms) is secondary.

Just thought I'd throw that out there :sly:

However, mate!
There has never been any questions about your integrety, has there?

Just putting that out there!
