JGTC S4 Round 1 Race + Results

Hey Eats!

Do me a favour please?

Can you verify Drew's time for me (off the replay if poss)?

He PM'd me his time a couple of days ago, and in that PM he said he got a 41'43.xxx not a 41'53.xxx.

Wouldn't want my teammate to miss out, just for a typo in his e-mail!

Ta!

Neil

I would really to but I only have a GTP pm with the race time, no replay.

Ah!

Strange that, he normally e-mails don't he?
He has been ill for the last week with a bad dose of the Flu, maybe he just couldn't be arsed doing the whole replay transfer thing.

Ah well, I'm sure he'll clear things up later.

Well.I salute you Comedy Racer guys. You caught me again. This impressive start of the season shows that you are really great drivers and cool guys.I take my hat off to you.👍
Let me tell you that losing a race with the feeling of being competitive is much more better than losing without a chance...like in LMS.
May I ask what was the trick in the startegy this time?

Thanks for the pluadits, Laz!

No trick involved really, hard work (from me at least, see my submission time above), consistancy in lap times, and not allowing the AI to interfere by passing them cleanly and decisively(where I had most of my problems).

The last races in the LMS have been bloody hard, especially at Le Sarthe. So don't get down about it, there are bound to be tracks where you are better than the rest of the field, every dog has his day!

I know that you worked hard,me too.I did the race 7 or 8 times...
This news not really belongs here but I decided to stay in the LMS too.I like the car,I am not interested anyomre how bad it is,I'll drive it as hard as possible.

Congrats to the podium finishers and everyone else who sent in a time for the first week! My race was rocking hit 15's the entire time on both sets of my hard/Medium tires (f/r) then when I slapped on the Medium sets I came into some traffic and the Viper made me bite it. Cost me the lead (ran a 1'23 amidst my 13's and 14's with medium softs) and eventually the win but it is nice to know that without the mental errors we can compete. Doesn't hurt to get a few bonus points for quick laps either.

Congrats again guys!

Speaking of points are you going to have an updated list of team/driver points in the next weeks thread or are you going to have a separate thread for it?
