JGTC S4 Round 5 Race + Results

It is the Ring, and no there isn't really a posted schedule this time around... :indiff:

I just got started doing some hotlaps, as that'll be the most important for now... And it seems doable, despite the stiff suspension. Don't have a clean lap yet, but it's coming. I wonder if the NSXs will have any sort advantage here because of their higher HP and weight... The 'Ring is a HP track you know. We'll see!

Daaaaaaaaamn. 1'42s on 2 stoppers?! Mad props guys, very well done! 👍

Mullen, you would've been JUST behind me if you had managed a qualifier, good job man.

Oldphart, lookatcha, man. You've just been kicking butt and taking names since you've started playing GT4! Well done man, and now we know why you're farther off your teammate's fastest lap, 3 stops vs 2! 👍

Thumbs up to everyone who submitted this time around, better all around participation for R5. :)

I will put up the Ring thread tomorrow when I get home from work. It's nothing that counts in the standings but a little bragging right could come out of it. :sly:

So until Sunday February 4th it's going to be JGTC Exhibition week @ Nurburgring Nordschleife

I will record the replays and host them up for the people sending them my way. Maybe not all, but let's say the top 3 or top 5 times. All the JGTC rides will be available for testing purpose and they'll all run at default (JGTC series) hp & weight. You can try different models and post multiple times. We'll put them all in a little provisional standings and we'll update as the week goes on.

Also tomorrow night I'm updating the full standings up to R5. 👍

Congrats Zeratul (again :-)
One of these days I'll get to the podium ...
Nice to see so many submissions.

Congrats Zeratul (again :-)
Thanks 👍 I wasn't sure I could take the win with the time I submitted, I lost about 5 seconds in a minor off caused by having to take sudden evasive maneuvers when the other Z on track braked very early for turn 5 :nervous: Ended up just in the sand but managed to recover fairly quickly.

Oh well, I had to get it while I could...I guess at +10% and an air restrictor I'm not likely to see the podium again in a hurry :sly:

Congrats to Eats and oldphart, dude nice showing 👍

Congrats to all podiums as per!

And a good turn-out this week too!

On the subject of the 'Ring', I have just realised I have lost a good, clean and brave sub 6.5 minute replay in the RX7 off my memorycard!
Prob deleted it myself by mistake when housekeeping the card, but the track is comfortably doable with at least the RX.
Obviously I will do that lap again, but the chance to run in the other cars sounds like lots of fun.

I got a 6:22.xxx in my RX7 at current settings, but from what it looks like, I'll get some more HP and try again. I'm kinda indifferent on the Ring, but it is a good test of skill, if you can get over (pun intended) the bumps in an over-stiff car.

I have to say my 6.5 min lap is with RH tyres on! So I don't think it's too shabby?
