Damn, forget me ever mentioning I'd get any points then.

:grumpy: Making me waste precious HOURS to qualify when I rightly should've known it's not possible.
 
I guess I'll trail behind you guys, my best wasn't quicker than a 1'54.5... Time submitted, only so I'll have no 10-second penalty tomorrow.
 
I did the same thing, no chance for points this time. If the qualification weeks didn't exist I would be ok with that.

Eh, I like qualification. It's just that this season it's rigged solid, so how good of a driver you are, or how good your car is doesn't come into play towards giving everyone a fair chance. I liked it better when it was just a hot lap, but the main thing is that certain cars/drivers will NEVER have a chance with the way it's currently setup.

And man, am I glad I did one more race after the last one that I did, because I would've dropped off a few spots from being the 5 seconds slower...
 
Dammit. I need to work on the consistency - my fastest lap was quicker than CRXNut, but I'm still second-to-last.
 
Being consistent is veeeeeeeeeery important in this series. Especially qualification rounds, 👍.
 
There seem to be a lot of frustrated folks this week... :odd:

My only comment for those that feel qualifying is a waste of their time would be this: whether you score points or not, it's good practice. I would argue it's more valuable practice than the race, since the points loss is less significant if you underperform. The chance to compare your pace with the rest of the field should be viewed, IMO, as an opportunity to improve. We've seen some drivers in this series starting out slow and inexperienced, and growing into competitive race winners through sheer perseverance and practice.

Just my 2 cents :)
 
Well yeah, I'm just saying it's not equal for every driver, giving some the advantage at championship over others, because EVERY point counts.

But it's ok, I've accepted it. For this round. I don't know if I will be playing next season, as I really need to stop playing GT4 as much as I do. Or stop being on the internet so much and get a bit of GT4 in instead.
 
Hahaha, yeah, but I don't learn as much... (most of my time is spent reading/posting on car forums, and some motorcycle forums)
