You can submit your times when ever you want, and you can improve on them to and resubmit a time. Just make sure its before the one and only deadline, February 5th.

THANX BH-21:
I have an eye exam in two weeks [Vision getting a little "Blurry" again / Had two new Lenses installed in my eyes a coupla years ago.] "IF" they can clear them up, I may want to re-run a few of the races, so will probably submit near the deadline. THANX Again...O.G.

Hiya Guys:
I know I'm the "New KID [yeh, right] in town" but must say I'm a little disappointed at the lack of chit-chat for these races. I only know BH-21 from this series & Smallhorses from forever but I hope to get to know you all better.

On that note, my old Logitech pedals started applying the BRAKES at very in-opportune moments during my attempt at the Tokyo Enduro, so I blew them apart, cleaned & lubed them. Also made a couple of little "Fences" from aluminum to keep the Squash Ball I use under the brake pedal from "wandering off" & all is much better now. Will give Tokyo another shot if I have time.

Checked my records for Grand Valley & I'm only about 20 seconds slower than last time I did it over 7 years ago in the same ride, so guess I won't bother re-running that one. Have submitted all my times but there are a couple I need to re-try, that's all from me for now...O.G.

i'm not sure if i'm able to submit my times in time!:scared:I took GT4 out of my PS2, and started to play AC5 again, so i'm starting to feed an addiction to that again. I hope i'll be able to conquer it and race those events I have left, I really want to show how ''darned'' good that Ultraflo Supra is, even though my own driving sucks!:sly:

Sorry O.G. I haven't touched my "Condensed Turd" Supra yet, the past coupla weeks have been way busy and not helped by me putting my back out! While I've been able to sit for long enough to bash out my last laps for the Lotus Gentleman's Racing Club and the Weekly Arcade Time Trial Challenges, I haven't been inclined to sit and take a pop at these. That said, I'm having my third physical therapy session of the week and sixth of the past fortnight, which has begun to make me feel better and like sitting down to a good ol' endurance-fest, so I'll be making up for lost time over the weekend. Given that winter finally seems to have caught up with us and the mid-60s temps that we'd seen throughout December and most of January so far have given way to rain (first we've seen since mid-November after the driest December on record!) and 40 - 50s for the foreseeable future I'm going to be less inclined to go outside to do stuff... race on!

Hope you find that extra time odnomre, I'm curious to see how that ESSO Supra goes, considering it's ranked as the 2nd quickest Supra in the game.
I'm surprised Crooooooow & one inch man haven't been trading jibes this time either. Maybe they're co-conspiring now that they're both in the same ride.
All a bit quiet for my liking!!! :p Though Crooooooow can't usually resist popping up with a witty remark in response to most of what I post nowadays.
Wonder how his ballet is going? :sly:

Hiya Smallhorses:
If you ignore EVERYTHING else I have to say, pay attention to this! Take care of your back!!! I have to sit in a rocking chair on a heated massage pad 2-3 times a week before I can even get up & start moving around.
Sorry about the weather, last year this time we had an ice storm, today it's over 80 on my patio! :sly: ...O.G.

I'm kinda busy as well. Exams are coming nearer and nearer.
So far I did the Family Cups, in decent times, compared to yours from season 1, Smallhorses. But I'm really lacking speed in the normal 4-6lap races and I don't know why.
Those front tires wear fast as hell.
Crooooooow seems to be busy, too.

I tried an "Abnormal" pit/Tyre strategy at the Tokyo Enduro this A.M. & it didn't work out but after 40 laps of practice I re-ran the 5 lapper & found about a second and a half. ...O.G.

So I spent some time yesterday getting to know the "Condensed Turd" again. It had 177.9 miles on the clock when I got in it but was left in totally stock configuration (what else would you expect from me?!!! :D), suggesting it was previously given a thrashing at either Dream Car Championship or All Japan GT Championship. Sat down with the icepack I'd been instructed to use by my physio, washed and oiled my "turd" and set about tweaking things setup-wise for the family cup events beginning at Tsukuba. Really happy at what I've come up with, although it remains to be seen if I'll have to do any fiddling with it to cope with tyre-wear at the endurance events. Another rainy day here by the Bay, so it'll be another experimental day finishing Family cup events before moving on to JGTC events, and finally the Enduros (I've learned from last time, that running Enduros too much caused the permanent HP loss to kick in once I got to around 1500 miles, and thus I couldn't run the JGTC events at full HP!!! :dunce:)
It's actually turned out not to be as much of a "turd" as I remembered, and I'll be submitting some provisional times later to see how far off-pace I'm at right now. :scared:

Hiya Smallhorses:
After all these years, I FINALLY found a way to avoid mileage build up. After a successful session, I save the replay & then hit the Reset button. Gotta go thru the PITA Screen re-do again but the accumulated mileage disappears!
...O.G.

Yeah, there is that, but I also like to save with the mileage logged and to keep the credit build-up and prizecars. I'm probably the antithesis of some of the GT5 people that seem obsessed by 0 mile cars, and many real-life collectors who eschew high mileage vehicles. I'm annoyed when I see a 1960s Ferrari with less than 10000 original miles on it go on sale, sure it might win a concourse medal, but who's every truly enjoyed that car? The same goes for the GT4 garage, if a car has lots of miles on it, it's a indication that I've had some fun driving it.
I've no time for garage queens. :yuck: (Says he with 2 cars in the garage that're insured for <4000 miles per year each!!! Hypocrite alert!!! :ouch: Oh, well, they do get driven, just not on a daily basis, and not when it's raining!)

Can I still enter in this? I don't know if I will have the time for all the competition but JGTC my favorite championship in the game is and I would like to give this a go.

I can't see why BH-21 would have any objections, as long as you're driving a car within the regulations and submit times before Feb 5th, you should be OK. The more the merrier! 👍

INDEED!!!

Nothing but football on the telly so put my time to better use & ran the Tokyo Enduro again. Got the tyre combo right this time & took 55 seconds off my submitted time.:sly: ...O.G.

Uh-oh! O.G. is finding his pace again! :scared:
Just finished my provisional runs for Family Cup races and have sent the request to BH-21 to figure out if I'm on pace or not, as though the old results are a good guideline, we've got more & more experienced drivers participating (having got 2 seasons under their belts already) in lots of different cars, so the spread will probably be a little different.
Off to do some JGTC event experimentation now and see what I can get away with tyre-wise.

Sure, pick a car and start racing. Tell us what car of course. You can enter up to say Feb 4th, but a body would have to pull a very long night to finish the whole season.

Which cars are available?

List is in Post #1.
Look in the last code box which shows which drivers are driving what car.
If there's no driver listed for a car you can take it.
If there's 1 driver listed for a car you can take it and possibly form a team.
If there's already 2 drivers for a car you can't use that one.

Thanks Smallhorses!

I will drive my favorite JGTC car: Nissan Xanavi Nismo GT-R (JGTC) ('03)

I'm happy for it being available. :dopey:

Got my times in!

It should be interesting to see how the rookies stack up against the veterans. I never really thought highly of these cars before but racing the Supra has changed my opinion, and short of painting Tokyo's walls silver and orange for 60 laps, I'm quite happy with how it performed. I just may have another run there before the season's over along with some of the early races that I ran with the TCS on.

On a semi-related note, these races almost did in my aftermarket cheapo controller. The left joystick now can spin around in its socket. I can't seem to notice any difference. It is about time for a new one, they don't last like the NES/SNES controllers which are still going strong after almost 20 years of abuse.

You need a wheel matey! 👍
Aside from a few easily fixed sticky pedal issues, a cursory tightening of the wheel mounting screws, and, after 7 years of use, having to solder in a new-upshift tactile-switch for the paddle shifter, the DFP is still going and takes a beating most days!

*Edit* Well, this is a "Condensed Turd" in name only!
This thing is quicker than explosive diarrhea after a botulism burger! There's no constipation here at all! :trouble:
Soooo much nicer to drive than the Skyline was too!

Well I get up around 7 am on Feb 5th US Central. So when ever I get online that morning check this website. Thats about 1 pm GMT.

 Been so busy, but I've got most of the races done, some I'm really happy with, some not so much, but I've still got both enduros to run!!! Best get to it!
Shame, as it's a lovely day out, 61F (16C) and sunny...

I've got a party to go to later though, and not sure how late it'll run so I need to get these run before I go! :nervous:
