Hi folks

Here is a small selection of my photomode pictures. I have yet to get a proper piece of editing software for my Mac so thay are a bit rough and ready.

Comments and suggestions greatly received.

Hey jimmy, welcome to GTP!

I love your 3rd picture because of the feature youve made of the flames and i like the contrast in number1 heres a quick tip : Click on the box on imageshack where it says remove resolution bar, that way you wont get the annoying black bar thingy across the bottom !

Enjoy GTP!

"Hey jimmy, welcome to GTP (x2 :D )

I love your 3rd picture because of the feature youve made of the flames and i like the contrast in number1 (yeah me too!) heres a quick tip : Click on the box on imageshack where it says remove resolution bar, that way you wont get the annoying black bar thingy across the bottom ! (yeah me too!!)

Enjoy GTP!" (exactly)

I agree with everything the man has said, nice start :)

1st and 3rd are pretty nice, and they got good angle
welcome to GTP by the way

Thanks for the comments guys.

Got home last night to find my 6 month old son had found my memory card and kindly placed it in my wife's lemonade. It is currently drying out so I hope it still works, otherwise it is back to the start of GT4 for me.

Fingers crossed.

I really like the flames comming out of the exhausts, it gives it lots of life and adds a lot of colour if you like, to the sleek silver RUF. Looking forward to some more photos from you! Sorry to hear about your memory card though!

Hey man, welcome to GTP. that's the worst thing that could happen to a memory card. hope it works soon. Anyway digging the pics especially the 3rd and 4th pics

Hello there, welcome to GTP!(not the first to say though.....)Nice shots you got there especially the 1st,3rd and 4th shots.I'm also terribly sorry for the lost of your memory card (or the damage of the memory card). But don't feel sorry for yourself,it could have happened to anybody.Hope your memory card still works ...(or you could join the GT4 corrupted data club and share your story there...)

Finally (after a couple of months) got a new memory card which works and 'borrowed' a saved game from a friend so I can start taking photos again.:)

Still haven't got any editing software other than Microsoft Image Manager though, which is a tad lame. :grumpy:

Anyway, here are a few more of my fledgling shots. Feel free to comment, opinions always welcome.

SimmiS: I couldn't see the box in imageshack to remove the res. bar, so these pics will still have them :-(

Hey folks.

Another update of one of my favourite Japanese cars.

This time I spent a little time adjusting brightness etc as best I can with Image Manager.

Toyota Celica

Next time I will try to make the photos the same size so they don't look as stupid lined up next to each other! I may even have a go at a thumbnail panel.

Comments always welcome. Bear in mind I have no cleaned any of the photos up at all.

Thanks in advance:)

welcome to gtp ! and thanks for the comment on my gallery. it's all practice and research really, and a little help from fellow members, but you sir, have the potential of being a pmc monster. i actually like your pictures. they all have great angles and the brightness levels are pretty good. hope to see more from you in the future. i'll be keeping track. hope you get a hold of photoshop soon.

Thanks jgda9rs, thats the first time someone has called me sir in a long time:lol:

I have photoshop on CD and need to get it installed on my PC asap - it is difficult finding the time at the moment.

try not to line all your pictures vertically or horizontally, it makes everyone have to scroll more either way..

Make a "Batch" instead.. How? well instead of putting the code for the enxt image on the next line, stay on that same line and press space, to leave a gap before inserting the next IMG.. this way they line up horizontally and they won't go all the way out to the right...

plus it overwhelms the viewer (in a good way, its pleasing to the eye, like when you win from a slot machine, all the lgihts flashing around you and stuff..)

Wow. The first Celica picture is amazing. But, I think you don't have the uSB Quality on SuperFine.. Be sure to check that. Anyways, your pictures have great potential!
👍

Thanks for all the great comments guys!

I got photoshop installed last night but am going on holiday for a week this weekend so it'll be a while until I get chance to try my hand at cleaning my piccies up.

TsukubaTrueno: That first picture is heavily cropped from the original which is why the quality is a bit dodgy. I keep trying to replicate it again in GT4 but never catch it quite right.
