With the coming release of Assetto Corsa I thought I'd open a group for us GTPers that plan on racing AC. Once the sim has multiplayer, we'll be able to make use of some of the built-in group features that Steam has to offer, which for games like this will really come in handy, like event scheduling, group chat and content sharing. Event scheduling in particular will be useful since once you post your event(s) here and schedule them in the group, reminders will be shown to every member of the group (even to those that didn't necessarily see the topic here) increasing odds of participation. Group chat could be useful for pick up racing, like the old GTP chat for GT5P. Even if it doesn't get used too much it's going to be nice having a place to see some numbers and current GTPers on AC.
Requirements
Since this will still be our base of operation you'd need to make sure to post all your semi and formal events here first. It'd also be nice if you add yourself to the GTP AC directory. The group is set to public so anyone can join (I can change this based on feedback).
To join, simply open the Community menu and select "Groups", from then just do a search with the name of the club.

) 12 members. Until MP comes along there's not much that can be done other than sharing screenshots and videos, but once that's done Steam Group features will come in handy.
