Jon Olsson's one of a kind 1000HP DTM RS6 has been stolen in Amsterdam and Police found the car, completely burnt shortly after.

I know it was sold to another person but Jon Olsson must be gutted. :(

After the robbers failed to realise the owner still had the keys so they couldn't restart the car..... They decided to set the car a light. Massive Derp.

It was stolen in an armed robbery. They went up with guns and took it from the driver
 
There was a petrol station robbery. Whether this was before or after the car being stolen is not told (Yet)

The car was in a Tunnel for a photoshoot. Engine running. That's when it was stolen. The owner still had the keys in the pocket.

So they couldn't restart it. (I wonder why they could drive more than a mere few hundert meters...

How so? The build was DTM inspired and he bumped the engine up to 1000hp.

They don't actually race the RS6 in the DTM...

This has 0% to do with a DTM car. Kinda ricedouche, like me sticking some mods on my 1 series and calling it a 120d BTCC.

In all the Dutch news this number was mentioned. It is not a "standard" RS6.
Lot of speculation about new owner Douwe Leitner.

I didn't made it up. It's just the number which is all over the news, with the gold plated turbo's and all.
Also think it's a "bit" much.

Interesting to know what the insurance will say?
 
Sad to see such a beauty gone. Can't wait to see his new project. Amazed at how the Audi V8s / 8 speed can make that power with just turbo upgrades (They did not state what other modifications were done besides the turbos, so i'm going to assume).

The pervious owner has a company called DoucheBags. What did you expect?
 
Sherlock Holmes (i.e me) says that the owner needed money and couldnt sell it because how many people want to spend 400k on an RS6 so came up with the idea to get it stolen and torched. That my theory without any evidence, just a hunch. My older bro did this over 20 years ago whilst i was with him at the cinema, I had no idea at the time but eventually sussed it out.

Hard times. He's actually the straightest out of my brothers. It was actually the only thing wrong he did in his life, My other bros were far more prone to doding things they shouldnt
 
Did they ever catch the crooks in this case?
I wonder what the insurance coverage was on this car. I have no doubt they will be investigating just as much (probably more) than the police.
