Jordan---built in reply window?

At another forum I've been to, I've seen a reply text box (with submit button) at the bottom of a thread. It's already there, you don't have to press "post reply" and wait for the reply form to load...you can reply right from the thread page.

Anyhow just wondering what you think of it, if you love it/hate it, and if you think it's feasible.

The issue with that idea (which I do like, by the way) is that he would have to script in the 'quote' button. As it is right now, when someone clicks 'Quote' it automatically puts the quote text in the box. It can be done with a built in reply at the bottom of the already opened thread, and actually ... it could be nice for doing multiple quotes. It would be more work though.

Stealth, it should show up as long as you have access to post in a thread. It is working OK everywhere for you now?
 
Cool cool. I like how it's "express", not too much clutter going on. But the option for the big one with all the fun stuff is still available.

Hmmm, that's a really cool idea. I definitely see where this will come in handy, when I'm posting a quickie with basic smilies only. :)
