They will be removed with the release of GTP 5, but I really don't have a solid date on that yet. Keep in mind they will still be counted and there will still be a top posters list. However, they will not be displayed next to each of your posts.

Hey Jordan, here's a suggestion(ohh fiddle sticks this isn't in the correct forum, please forgive me ):

Get rid of post counts, have the avatar stuff and status changes based on days on GTP, or even hrs on GTP.

Then you could also have member ratings based on the other users. Like...err...have something where the other users can vote that member up or down....ermmm that will cause some problems just scratch that one...

No, besides being unecessarily complex to pull off, logging the hours per day would not work. (This should answer your question, SublimeDood10.)

yea post counts don't mean much to a number of people, myself included. Personally I am here for GT2 stuff and automotive sections to help, add input, ideas etc. Not to mention I really like these forums and love Jordon's site.

Ignore the postcounts and just look at the date joined, the you can tell if there a whore a noob or a long time member, or a complete and utter toca race idiot!

Although I thought as much about the offline thing because my work comp is on 24/7 and most of the time I have gtp active on it.
