JP version spec 2 download not working???

Ok, i have the JP version of prologue and i guess there was a spec 2 update a while back. Well, i haven't been playing and last night i went online to play and it started downloading this update. Every time it starts downloading and gets about halfway done, it comes up with some error with a yellow alert on top. I tried downloading it over and over about 4 times now and nothing is working...I'm using my JP account to download the update as well...Has anyone had this problem, what is that error saying? I don't want to buy the English version, because I bought the JP version and I'm fine with it. It's just that this update is not working!!! This sucks, any help?

The update is notorious for failing many times, hell I think it took me like 25 times to get it all. You are just going to have to keep redoing it until it completes im afraid..

Everytime it fails it should have saved all the data you got up until that point. You can see this if you go into your game save (or data) utility and see that the GT5P install MB's have increased.

This is nothing unusual, its just the servers for this game suck in every way!

Just make sure the MB's are increasing in the 5GB odd save file on the HDD... if it is then your on your way there 👍

It could take ages! I think the update is like 400MB but its coming all the way from Japan.
