I've been searching for the usual thread where the update expectations are discussed, but I can't find it.
What do you think of it? I don't know why, but I am expecting that the 512S awarded at Pebble Beach is coming soon (we know it will come 100% right?) and from the datamine I expect the Bugatti Type 35, which would make sense in 100th Le Mans celebrations as it's the car which won the most races in the history of motorsport (although it didn't win Le Mans, but among the winners in the 1920s, only Bentley survives to this day).

I would also expect a track, as many do I think, because it's been 4 months since the last one and 2 since the last layout. Probably it's hopium, but there was a valley with som strange red rocks in the background of last month cars thumbnail... :)

Le mans gr1 30 minutes race - for 160.000 cr 😆

I am afraid that I will be disappointed especially in the sector of events and payments for one more month....

CARS
BMW 2002 Turbo
Lexus LFA
Mitsubishi Lancer EVO 9 MR
Porsche 963!!!! 🙏😲

EVENTS
Real Tracks Championship (PD i will let to you about rules)
The abilty to sell our engines and parts
Lobbies with more custom rules (choose cars, not only categories AND THE ABILTY TO CREATE CHAMPIONSHIPS)

SCAPES
Le Mans (Updated)

And last thought: as many cars PD will add to GT7 without events to 'run' them will be useless

Trying to actually logic this out gives me the following (that will probably end up being completely wrong):

  • Toyota GR Corolla - I'm highly suspicious that the Toyota Cup round 7 TBA is for a new car rather than a new track. My reasoning is there's always a new car every year for TGR to show off (2019 Supra, 2020 Yaris, 2021 GR86, 2022 GR010) and so far the 2023 series doesn't have a new car like that in the schedule, which is why I think this (or some other 2023 Toyota) is quite possible.
  • Porsche Mission R - PD has a good relationship with Porsche and likes adding Porsches to the game; meanwhile Porsche seem to be pushing this car into a number of games (iRacing, Forza, even Rennsport). Seems logical it'd show up here too.
  • Ferrari 512S - we haven't had a Pebble Beach car for a while, and this is both one of the next ones up and also makes sense in the game even without that designation as a rival for the 917K.

I think the game is due for a new circuit (or maybe a Le Mans Update for June).

As for cars:

One of these:
1998 #25 Porsche 911 GT1/1999 #3 Toyota GT-One/#32 Nissan R390 GT1

1987 RUF CTR Yellowbird
Dodge Challenger Hellcat
Lexus LFA (lol)

As for cars, I think if they wanted to add a Le Mans Hypercar or LMDh, the Porsche 963 looks extremely likely, as with the Ferrari 499P.

Maybe we’ll finally see a couple Gr.2 events…

It’s something I’ve been hoping would be introduced for quite a while now.

I figured they would add something after releasing the Audi RS 5 and physics changes with 1.31. They are in a unique position far ahead of Gr.3’s and far behind the Gr.1’s. Even at lower pp levels, the group C/classics became so much more powerful with that update

At this point i'm more interested in how PD will tackle engine swaps from now on.
Will they keep doing the 3/4/5 new engine swaps like previous patches? Will they increase the number of engine swaps? Decrease? Start doing engine swaps for very expensive cars, like alfa romeo berlinetta '38 or mercedes s barker or others?

A new track could happen i think its a good time for that, cars are quite difficult to predict but i am going for

Dodge challanger demon
Lexus lfa
Mitsubishi lancer evolution lx
Toyota gtone ts020

Now when we know we have engine swaps and special parts buyable wonder if they update both or just engine swaps

Proably get the silhouttes on 24-25 of june

The fact that no one decided to create this month update thread until now is kinda funny to me. At this point I guess most of us got tired of the same updates.

3 cars that are the most precious thing to me, but add zero value to the game
no circuits
3 new events (3 or 5 laps) that I'll do it once and never again

Funny how each new Scape location adds more value than the events itself.

They have an IMSA licence. So we won't be getting Sebring, the Cadillac, BMW, Porsche or Acura GTP cars. I would like an interview with Kaz. I'd like to know how cars and tracks get prioritised.
Isn't there an interview where Kaz states as soon as the car models are done, he releases them? Also, what he said about the way cars are released, it's just happening that way.

The cars was not the best last month i can agree on that and most might expect a new track as its been 4 months since the last one, but last update was still great considering, buyable s parts and engine swaps are now a thing

please please please pleaseeeeee!
CIVIC Eg6 SIR2 is all I want so I can recreate my first car with it :(
Lexus LFA because it's about time
and probably the PB award car.

I have been watching the build up to Le Mans and hope that PD are going to release a Le Mans special pack… especially an old 935 and the pole sitting Ferrari 499. A couple of hour long races like Spa with 24 hours condensed into 1 and a 1m credit prize would make sense too, one at 700pp for the GT category and I would truly love a Neo-Classics / Group C race too.

Obviously we will get a new Nissan GTR and a new scape instead.

Hopefully some Mount Panorama events! There's only 2! 1000km event featuring the Mustang '15 vs the Camaro '18. 😁

There should be a new track like Sugo , Motegi , Sebring or even Hungaroring

car wise eh some new hyper car (looking at you 499p) or something related to Le Mans would be nice
Yes, my bad I forgot Sugo might come!

If we look at SuperFormula calendar
  • Fuji, 8-9 April
  • Suzuka 23 April
  • Autopolis 21 May
  • SUGO 16-18 June
  • Fuji 14-16 July
  • Motegi 18-20 August
  • Suzuka 27-29 October

They added the SF23 in April with Fuji, then added the race at Autopolis in May update, which came out the week afte Autopolis GP. Is it so much science fiction expecting to get SUGO this month on either 22nd or 29th of the month, so one or two weeks after the real race? It would indeed be strange to get SUGO and Motegi in June and August (and to add what @Doncarlone says about Hungaroring it would make three months in a row with a track...) but given how much SF was hyping its presence in GT7 through social media and how much they would benefit from their inclusion in GT7 rather than the other way around, is it so impossible?

Also, has anyone else immediately thought of Kaz and silhouettes when Caterham dropped their new concept announcement?
