I have had a great idea, a junior GT Academy. This would be for contestants 17 or under, and would be based around karts! There could be 4 rounds, junior karts, 100, 125 and 125 shifter. It could include tracks life kart space, GT arena, Matterhorn short, brands Indy and silverstone stowe. Thoughts?
 
good idea mate, you should shoot them an email or a Facebook message, they will get back to you about it!

It would more be targeted for 18 and under... This GTA doesn't make much sense to me in terms and conditions.. You must be over 18 and have a full drivers license... Its funny because you cant get a full license untill you're 20.. So why don't they just say you need to be 20 with a full license? Lol :s

I can't see Nissan supporting this, but I can see Red Bull getting on board one day soon! They have a massive young drivers programme that would be well suited to this...

Here in Michigan, you can have your full license when you're 17.

It's 17 here, and in certain places of the US I think it's 16. @Mini Stiggy, Australia has strict licensing, as does Finland, although I can't remember specifics there.
 
say what? No way? Here in AUS you get your learner's at 15, 9months, Provisional at 17 and full at 20....

Then again we are a Grandma state... Here in the Capital the max speed is 100kph, or 62mph...

Right up your alley there Andrew. 👍 I'm not much into karts myself, but I think you karting guys really deserve something like this, sounds like an awesome idea for you karters. 👍
