just a hello

hi guys 50 year old newbie'ish gt5 enthusiast here , i feel a bit out of my depth as i'm normally a guitar player in a rock band !! but my son gave me gt5 about 6 weeks ago and i've been hooked ever since . i would like to get online and have a few races and a chat with likewise people if possible . a few days ago i got my fingers burned by joining randoms rooms and getting absolutley trashed , in one room a vw camper van passed me at 150 mph , and cornerned better than an f1 ---- whats that all about ??
