Just a note on autosave

Hey guys, i been reading alot of the posts on this forum and they are really useful. cant remember who to give thanks to but whoever posted that video of how to beat mission 23 is a god! anyways i was wondering something..

i have turned off autosave in the game because i thought i would buy cars and do em up to see which were good and if they were no good i could just re load the game. but whenever i enter a car the game saves itself, completely screwing up my attempts to test out cars etc.

is there any way to fully disable auto save?? i ask because i have saved up 4.5 mil and i want to try as many of the EXPENSIVE cars as i can before making my decision. please any help would be appreciated. also wat 4.5 million CR. car would you guys recommend me get? ive heard the R8 or the BMW V12 are good any opinions?

Simple answer: no!

Even when switched off, auto-save will still save when buying or changing the car.

i also hate auto save in gt4 its one of the worst things in the game buut try going under options and turn it off if you didn´t already

You can try the cars you buy without saving... You have to say no when the game ask if you want to "use the car now". Then you go to arcade and the car should be there.

The game saves anyway, no matter if you say yes or no.

i have a way to try out cars (but you can't 'do em up')
take your memory card out and buy the car you want (Audi R8/BMW V12 or whatever you want) but don't get in it (when it asks to 'use now')
then go to 'Arcade' and try it out,
thats the only way i found.
or save on MaxDrive (then buy it, if you don't like, delete off Memory Card, then put the data from MaxDrive back on Memory Card)
