I did the high speed ring and nurinbourgh one aswell they are fairly easy to beat and great money and xp the only thing is you can only get the prize once :(

So I just did 3 different races and I got rewarded only on the first one? I'm sure I never did the last 2. Do we only get the money and Xp for one the 5 races?

How is that not fair? If anything that'll encourage people to handicap themselves to get the larger prize, and perhaps bragging rights.

I agree, this is one of the most entertaining parts of the game. With only a few races left in the A-spec series I'm nearly complete on that part of it anyway. I like the concept of having to start last on a staggered start and fight your way to the lead. It would work better though if the races were balanced so that winning in a stock version of the car was not possible. It's more fun to try and see what the minimum upgrades you need to apply are to win. If I can beat the race in a stock version on the first try it's a bit of a let down.

Agreed, the first 2 Seasonals were awesome now they are just another A-Spec race with a better payoff.

this has been explained elsewhere..
seasonal are a fixed payout race, you only get paid once no matter how many times you do it.. you get paid for the highest placing you get, so 2nd gets All the prize money for 2nd third fourth etc until its been taken, 2nd gets all the prize money except 1st until its been taken, so if you come second twice in a row, you only get the payout on the first race. nothing on the second.

No, not that. There are 5 different races per bonus. I started doing the last one cuz it pays more. And I got my 1.5M. Then I did the one just before that was supposed to give me 750,000 I think and I got nothing. Then I went to an old bonus race that I never tried and got nothing either.
Now, I wonder if it counted but the prize just didn't pop but still counted? I didn't look at how much I had before I started the races =/
 
Did all 5 last night, took me bout an hour and a half or so. Was more fun than I thought after seeing the races but way to easy, even with a completely stock car, especially the DTM and Pug 207 ones. The latter was a joke, really.

Yeah, they were rather easy, but e.g the schwimmwagen-race was so much fun I ended up doing that 5 times :lol:
 
Yea, the Schwimmwagen race was a ton of fun. The first time I tried it out I put it in the wall right out of the gate, but after that it quickly became one of my favorite rides. Wish I didn't have to give it back to the guy I borrowed it from. :guilty:

I've got a spare one if you want it but it's completely stock. :)
 
The TVR one is hard as all heck for me. I've done it about 10 times and the closest I can get is 2nd, 2 seconds off the leader. I guess I'm just gonna give in and buy some upgrades.
 
only upgrade you'll need is better tyres, if you really are having problems then buy soft racing, but if you just struggle to keep up go for hard racing.
You should be able to win this rather easy with better tyres :)
 
Only upgrade you need if you can't beat them stock is SRF. The races are ridiculously easy with a stock set-up and SRF (except the Schwim)
