Just can't seem to get it right

i used to drift with my sixaxis fairly well with a few cars, but ever since i got my dfgt it has just been nearly impossible. i can get the car to slip out and begin to slide but then i lose it and crash or spin out. i just dont know what is wrong? is it my throttle input or is it how im countersteering. im not used to countersteering since i used the sixaxis i just had to tap it back and forth to keep the cars balanced, but now its impossible to keep it balanced.

It would be a mix of your countersteering and throttle controll. The number one thing that is making you spin out is contersteeing. Practice and u will get it.

You have to be very aggressive with your hands, very careful with your feet and very persistent. You have to turn the wheel a lot.
