Finally won the Lake Maggiore Circuit to gold that damn The Human Comedy. Now I need to learn how to not suck at Cone Challenges and Drift. 😤

I noticed that the current Weekly Challenges included a round of the Evolution Meeting, which was the last Bonus Menu I hadn't unlocked yet. This was because I hadn't gotten around to doing the one round of the X2019 Nations Cup rounds that I had remaining for that respective Bonus Menu, which is at Sardegna Road Track A. So I did that race, and while it wasn't considered clean, I did clear it, and got a very nice 500k credit from the six-star roulette ticket that's given as a reward. On top of that, I got a Papaya Orange Audi TT (first-gen) from the four-star roulette ticket for my daily workout.

So, with that out of the way, I started the Bonus Menu for the Evolution Meeting, and as it turns out, one of the three races required to clear this Bonus Menu happens to be featured this week, being the round at Monza. I'll likely take care of that tomorrow, and maybe do two more races to get two out of three rewards, since I've also yet to try the Gr.1 Prototype Series round at Road Atlanta.

Oh, and for the Evolution Meeting? I plan to use a Lancer Evolution X with an Escudo engine. Although there's not even a suggested PP for the Evolution Meeting, I thought I'd bring the car down to just under 600 PP, especially if I wanna try using it in a future round of the WTC 600. I did so by lowering both the power limiter and the full-customize ECU all the way, adding a fair amount of ballast, and finally putting it on Sports Hard tires. I do feel like I should make one of my more basic liveries for it, too, almost like a club racer.

I did race B and it was a DISASTER. Maybe school got out but people were smashing into each other everywhere. I don't get it.

I did a really good lap, everyone's lap was really good, it was like a room full of DR C SR C

For the first time ever, I tried the 60 minute Spa race. Used the Mazda. Good grief, the bloody weather ⛈️ 😂

QUESTION. Does it seem to you that getting the Clean Race Bonus has recently become easier?

EDIT: I ask because despite having some really egregious track exits on Spa, I was given the 500,000 Cr bonus, and this is certainly not the only recent event it has been so forgiving in

The only way to lose the CRB in that race is to overtake under yellow flags. That's it.

I'm still relatively early on in GT7 (only started playing a month ago or so) so still working my way through missions and stuff. I did Beginner Drifting 2 (Mustang Gr.4 at Daytona) and I almost lost the will to live in the process. Took me hours, it's among the worst things video games have ever put me through. Learned nothing in the process. 😆

Love the game and challenges like the circuit experiences, but I hated this with the burning passion of a thousand dying suns.

A delightful Custom race in the new Mazda.

24 Hour version of the Nurburgring, one lap, starting at midnight with time progression = 30X.

Weather clear, followed by alpine mist.

By Aremberg, there was light on the horizon.

Here's the post dawn at Döttinger Höhe...

Back across the Atlantic, and here's my new Land Cruiser with a beat up look. The livery is shared and editable, and won't require you buy a paint color you don't want.

But it will make you noticeably faster on dirt I'm sure.

I bought the new cars from the update with my 66m in the bank. Noticed nothing interesting to do so I logged out and went to space in NMS. I guess December will be good? Still looking for original tracks like Midfield.

Drove the Opel VGT in the time trial. God, i am so awful at Road America that i cannot even hit bronze time.
Drive the stock Elantra in the time trial and hit low 2:24s. I think if i get more consistency i will hit the 2:23s the ideal lap shows i am capable of doing

Today I completed 2 out of 5 weekly challenges, for this I drove the Corolla Levin AE86 '83 and the Shelby GTR 350 '16. Both fully stock.

A 4 stars ticket gave me 1M credits, and as I collected 2 gold rewards from the expired online time trials that netted me 5M credits in a single gaming session.

Also, I made small tweaks in an old livery of mine and then reuploaded it.

Lovely GT7 day.

Driven two gr3 cars back to back to compare them for fun...one of them was okay with plenty of potential, the other was a disasterclass in every conceivable way apart from it's engine sound - I'll leave you all to guess which is which

Today I completed the rest of the weeklies by driving the Toyota FJ40V (lovely car btw), the Subaru Gr.B and a Corvette C4 engine swapped.

I also did the Japanese FR 450 at Suzuka with one of my favorite cars in the game: the Silvia Q's S13 '88. After the race I slapped some stickers and a new plate.

A 4 stars ticket dropped another 1M credits. Can't complain.

Today I set a laptime in the current challenge of the COTW thread (X-bow at Watkins Glen short)

I really like this car.

The despicable wheel gave me 30K for my troubles booting up the game this Sunday.
I'll be doing the same later today. Especially considering the OG COTW thread is going tits up by the end of the year (and I LOVE Watkins Glen Short). I'm sure someone else will pick up the gauntlet, but I think it would be a nice gesture if more people were involved in these last few months. Send it out on a high, as it were.

it took me a bit to get used to the Tuscan speed last night just beat the rain on the final lap it would of poured for the rest of the field on their final laps.
