Can the imported PSPGT cars be sold in GT5 to at least get some credits from them?

If a premium car is going to look crapy in GT5, why even bother transfering them.. might as well earn it as a premium in GT5.

What about Class Licenses? Gran Turismo 5 Prologue to Gran Turismo 5

I still don't know yet as im still on begginer class. I mean im just on level 2 at this moment lol. But i didn't notice anything already unlocked from prologue yet.

can you stall the engine, using the clutch:guilty:

Well until now i only experienced weak damage. As im testing physics in arcade mode, with crazy wall crashes, i didn't exceed scratches and barely noticable deformation. So mechanical damage isn't under the scope yet. But hey i noticed something nice. You dont have to push triangle every single time to engage the clutch. Once you push triangle the clutch will be there all the time. Plus you can shift using the F1 paddles without switching the shifter pattern to tiptronic. So manual shifting and clutch mode works at the same time with F1 paddles.

Once again, GTPSP cars can only be found in arcade mode. And they're only available in standard. For an example, Corvette ZR1 is a Primium/Standard car at the same time. So cars brought from GTPSP are only standards. Even the Nissan GTR. So if you want them in premium you will have to earn money and buy them in GT LIFE. BTW premium cars look incredibly detailed. They are beyond beautiful.

It should have asked you at the install point. It says right on the gran Turismo Home Page that we can get a jump start buy transferring data from GT5p to GT5.

Have you updated to firm ware 3.51 yet?

I'll forget about importing PSP cars to GT5. It will be very rewarding trying to win all those beautifully designed premium cars in GT5 once again.

It clearly states here at the bottom of the page that we'll be able to transfer data from Gran Turismo 5 Prologue to Gran Turismo 5. So if you haven't been able to transfer your data then you haven't updated. So which in turn means the up-date wont be available until tomorrow. Which in turn you might have to re-install every thing for it to work correctly. ( Right?)

Wait wait wait wait. If the cars are jaggidy (sp lol), that means they cant be standard cars..which are not jaggidy like GTPSP. Does that mean it is literally taking the cars from the psp version? If so, are there interiors in those cars? (black bars, I believe it is called)

The standard cars are very jaggy compared to the Premiums.

You will still get a chance to win all those beautifully designed premium cars in GT5 ... Career Mode :)

I am under the impression that gtpsp and prologue transfers are only for arcade mode. Isn't that right?

May I ask that how many cars can you transfer from GTPSP to GT5?

Also if you do not transfer GTPSP data, what cars will you have in the beginning of Arcade mode? Any Bugatti / Ferrari / or Lamborghini cars? Thanks!

got it, *imported cars only appear in arcade mode*. thanks OP!

thats really good to know, i exported my psp cars and was like wtf i cant find them in the garage!

dont really know why, but i cant transfer the cars.

i go to the options menu, gtpsp transfer. then, i connect the psp via usb, put the psp in usb mode and then, the game still says (waiting for connection).

has anyone experienced this?

the ps3 recognizes my psp as the media libraries are there, but the game says, waiting for connection or something like that.

is this normal?

how much time did it took to you guys transfer the data? 1 minute, more? less?

thanks for the help

Yes, you need to start GT PSP and choose 'export garage' from the options menu. Then it will transfer.

I have the same problem as this guy: Hi, just tried it out, but it didn't work for me. :( I have a PSP - 2000

If I press Import Garage Data on both games, it says "USB connection failed, import failed"

I did try both, start import data on PS3 first or on PSP first. Nothing works. And if I start import data first on the PSP, the PS3 would say "An unknown USB device has been connected."

So anyone know how to make it work?

HELP!!

Just transfered my 50 GTPSP cars into arcade mode. You can pick any of the 50 cars, you've obtained in GTPSP, for arcade mode.

With only 50 cars available to transfer, I might have to drop some of my 'joke' cars like the Stealth Black Daihatsu Midjet.
