See driving a stick in traffic really doesn't bother me, I have about a 40 minute drive every day to school because I go to a private school in Miami and I live in Fort Lauderdale but anyway I find that I pay attention alot more with a stick and that makes you more likely not to ram into your son :), anyway you just wait for about 4 to 5 car spaces then pull up. Might make the people around you mad but do you really care ;)
You do that here in Wisconsin you won't have any space by the time you hope to pull up. Here we have these people that weave down the highway and they would fill the space. Most people do it. To keep going at a quick pace here people are constantly switching lanes going back and forth across the highway. Most people call I-94, the highway I am talking about, a race track. People also wait until the last minute to switch lanes if one lane is closed because of an accident or something and people usually let them in. This annoys me because I wait in the line of traffic and he got in far ahead of me. The highway is three lanes in both directions, but people guess the highway will be gridlocked by 2006 or 2007 with the growth rate around here. As for the backups now, at rush hour it may take you between an hour and two hours to go from here to Milwaukee, about 25 miles.

Both my parents drive like maniacs. They weave in and out to pass slow people so they can continue speeding. They stop quick and hit the gas quick to accellerate quick at the stoplights. My dad can be scary to drive with at times because he doesn't pay attention to the road. He will watch what is going by so a lot of the time you will have to tell hime the guy in front of him is stopping or something.
