Had to mention wheel separately as to not encounter gamepad users who will stand no chance/will be scary to race against

But yes, onto the topic itself.

I've played the game plenty, and the single player campaign is getting a little sore. I thought of doing laps around Nordschleife, but that gets stale fast as well. Once I've done the circuit experiences, all I really have left is the single player races and online.

Problem is, to properly enjoy online I not only need a bunch, but a skilled bunch! We can figure out some good combos, but for the moment I'm thinking something like:

Low-powered cars @ Brands Hatch/Goodwood
Gr.4 or the like @ Nordschleife/Trial Mountain/Autopolis
276hp JDMs or close @ Autopolis/Suzuka/Bathurst
Something drifty! @ Willow Springs

P.S. BoP and fixed setups will apply.

I am definitely interested, especially as long as sport mode is not doing BoP/fixed setups. I like your suggested combos, but I would also be interested to race something a bit faster such as gr2 @ saint-croix B or similar (might take a while for people to scrap together the credits ofc). I only started GT sport in december but I got into A+ in my first month of playing and I am a wheel user :D

Great! And yeah endurance combos are fine by me, Saint Croix is definitely a track I enjoy with fast cars. But why not go for layout C? ;)

Decided to bump this thread. I now found two Aussies to race with, they're practically on the same level and I've had a blast with this handful of races we've had so far! I was about to say I found them, but rather, a fellow Finn introduced the lot to me, including getting me raided on friday. So wholesome :embarrassed:

But, I'm ever looking for more, the more the merrier!

You can add me too, if you want.

However, I wouldn't exclude pad players. It's better to restrict by DR/SR than input device. There are people on pads in A/A+ who have perfect control of their cars. As well as there are plenty of people with wheels who are both slow and obnoxious to be around.

I know, I did say earlier I was proven wrong by one person. But I'll keep the thread as is, plus I do want to play with people that are on the same wavelength :)

PSN?

Same as my username here.

And yes, I can count the fast and fair pad players I've met on one hand.

I doubt it's worth my trouble mentioning this but there has been players that had to learn the wheel to race at the World Tour Live events because they made it there on pad.
Wheel is mostly for immersion and save tire. Not for speed or safety

No, wheels are faster and safer because they can be more precise and don't get the same sudden snap whilst trying to countersteer. That pace advantage is why almost all of the esports players are on wheels.
