I don't know if anyone else is looking for a new wheel, but newegg has brand new logitech g27s shipped to your door for 205 bucks.

I got it for $230 shipped off newegg last year, damn! Thats a good deal,I may have to buy a spare. lol.

Enjoy it. The G27 is a fantastic wheel and it will feel like a whole new game if you're coming from a dualshock.

Yeah, I upgraded from a dfgt to a g27 a month ago. Love it XD

How big is the difference/jump between the DFGT and the G27? I've been using the DFGT for like 2 years, and I'm not really concerned about the clutch feature; I think the feel of the car is more important..

The wheel does feel better to use, but tbh not that much. The DFGT wheel I think is a great wheel.
I love the clutch and the h gate box, but as I only use those for 'driving' and not 'racing' or fast times, I don't think it's worth upgrading just for the clutch and gearbox. The big difference is the pedals. They are much better/easier/more realistic to use. The pedals are the main reason I upgraded and dont regret it for a second.
Only real downside compared to the dfgt is the button layout and cost. The button layout on the dfgt is by far the best layout in my opinion and I have owned the pro/dfgt/g27.

I'm also upgrading...from a G27 to a Fanatec CSR Elite wheel and Elite pedals, lol. Have had my G27 for 2 years now and it still works like new but I recently bought Forza 4 and needed a wheel for that game so I opted to go all out and get a wheel that can be used for both games. Just ordered it this morning so now the wait begins.

Massive difference. G27 makes the DFGT feel like a toy.

I've owned DFP, DFGT & G27.

I disagree with that. it makes the pedals feel more toy like but the wheel on the dfgt is still very good. I have owned the same wheels.

I'm regretting getting the DFGT last Friday. I really was expecting more force feedback from it. (Yes, I have maxed everything.) My DFP has almost the same ffb. I'm thinking I should have just got the G27 in the first place.

Bought a DFGT and have always wondered how a G27 feels like. Is the difference that huge? Or does it feel somewhat similar to the G25?

Although I agree, I don't think people should read that and think the DFGT isn't worth getting.

The biggest difference is how much more natural it feels. The G27 uses two motors instead of the one, which makes taking quick turns feel normal and to me, it made feeling everything out easier. The DFGT still was an amazing wheel for the 20 months that I had it. I don't regret getting that first if anyone is thinking about getting a wheel. It is half the price, soooo...

Don't think it will be noticeably different to the G25. Somewhat similar is a better fit for those than comparing the DFGT to the G27, obviously. The best part of the G27 is that you don't feel as if you're breaking it like you do when you hear the DFGT. Personally, that was a huge selling point (due to the two motors that the G27 has.)

I might not upgrade from dfgt to g27 just for the pedals.. I guess I'll wait for a bigger price drop to do that.

Hmmmm, I had a G25 and have had a G27 for close to 2 years, and I've had a good long try out on a DFGT.

For me, the DFGT has the slightly better steering feel... the belt drive just feels smoother than the gear drive.

But the G series build quality, peddals and shifters are in another league to the DFGT.

If I recall correctly, the pro and dfgt are belt driven, the g25 is gear driven and the g27 is diagonal cut gear driven.

I agree about the drive systems for G25/G27, but I am pretty sure the Pro & DFGT are also gear driven. Aren't belt systems only used on the higher priced wheels?

You may well be right. I know the G25 and G27 info is correct. Happy to take your word for the dfgt drive.

Never getting a wheel again.. I had one in my GT3 days and stomped the gas too hard within the first half hour.. I don't know why I did it, but long story short that excited foot stomp sent the accelerator pedal mechanism out through the bottom of the casing... You can guess my reaction.

I just bought a logitech g27! Im on my way home **** YEAH!

Not allowed to skip around the censor filter. Just use the smiley. = 🤬

Wheels have come a long way since then.

You sure it's belt driven? I just seen a video and it shows no sign of it, only a single motor.

Congrats!!! Enjoy. I made a new psn name when I first bought mine so I could play through the seasonals and some license tests to get used to it.

Enjoy it man!

It is a great wheel. I own one since release. (i had a Logitech DFPro for my PS2/GT4 and for my PC too before that)

No problems since then, the quality and everything in it makes you enjoy even more your long sessions playing simulators. (bought it for 350€ at that time, now in Europe costs between 200-220€ new)
