No... you DO have to get 1st place in every single race, race series and time trial to get 100%. Bronze is sufficient for the licences.

has anyone gotten all golds in licencing? I have yet to do that, but I'm so lazy to do it...=P
 
Many people have. It just takes a little bit of time and hard work. It took me forever to get the Penzoil GTR at Midfield, but after that they came easier and easier. I liked doing them because I'm not a huge fan of the big lap races, and this was just a way to put them off. Sadly though, they're done, and I must face the sweet music of the four endurance races, along with the twenty some odd races in the Pro's.

yeah, well im down to 4 races now ;)

christ, friggin 25 laps of the test course will put me to sleep quicker than the tryptophan I'll be having later tonight :rolleyes:

coming up next... 33 laps of Laguna Seca :banghead:
 
lol, I was going to do some for my friend and I started and around lap five on Laguna I got bored and dropped the controller. Good luck with that though!

PS. Hard to say, but the rubber band trick might work on the test course. Doubtful though.
 
the rubber band trick worked for me...i used the r349 race car or what ever its called i forget for the like the wind race and it worked fine...i think that ones like 50 laps or something but the rubber band worked fine...i just had to put it back on every once and a while.
 
yeah rubber band trick works... until the damn thing slips and slams on the brakes in the middle of turn 1 on lap 23!!!!!! :eek:

good thing i had a 25sec lead.

you still have to steer the car no matter what.

also, you need to draft off of everyone else until they first pit. no need for you to pit... not exactly a technical course.

I was really surprised by the inclusion of Super Speedway... hadnt seen that track in a LONG time. :lol: 50 laps of that went by quick!

I did that too.....actually, I used a fully powered Escudo, and then turned the transmission settings to total wide.....for greatest speed....

oh yea, I turned on Auto transmission as well.....so I started the race, and let the escudo do it's job

I just need to check up on it once in a while to see that if wasn't clipping into the inside wall and slowing to a stop.....otherwise, it spends most of it's time coasting along hte outside wall.......=)
