Swap disk is disk that tricks the playstation in thinking that there is American game in it. Because my ps2 wont play Japanese games.

well like i say thio the game is tooooo good & really for drifting
couse the games base at the hill climb & downhill same like initial d . so u can try to show the truth power of drifting . from my personal experiance the game its easy 2 win . .... i hope u buy & play it than GIVE ME feedback 2 me ...... ihope everbody who are great drifting in the gt3 would try these game including driftgod . ....

well i dont got a chip but the place where i bought the swap disk had them with a different case for the PS2 so it opens up like the PS1's

if i buy this game from yesasia.com will it work on my unmodded ps2? it says that it is the NTSC version and isn't that the version we use here in the states? if it will work i will buy this game but just thought i would ask here first.

Well mine didnt work unless i got the swap disk or a modchip and i live in the states

If it is in Japanese, it won't work on American PS2's w/o swap disk or modchip. That's the rule, no exceptions.

do u need a japanese Memory Card to save data from Kaido?(or any import game for that matter). and what about dual shock controller, japnese?

My memory card and the controller work fine, which is a good thing because i didnt want to buy another thing.

Did u have any problems with the Flip top and swap disc?
I bought the flip top to play Gt Concept Geneva, and it wont load.
Am i doing it right: Load swap dics, when screens says "Insert Disc" , open flip top and insert Import, then press start. Right?
What Ver PS2 do u have?, i have a Ver 3, but it really shouldnt matter, Flip Tops should work with All Ver.
Oh, and do u have the Swap Disc thats says Ver. 2.0?

there is only one problem that i have with it is that it wont load one of my games, it an import called Something something Drift Champ and i want to play it but it wont let me
