Welcome to BTCC Series.

yo96.png

This Series is based on the BTCC Championship. BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) is a touring car series well known for the close door to door racing, with cars that can be seen on the streets every day.
This series aim is to use REAL cars that run in BTTC in the last years, and race them on REAL tracks from England, which are used for the real series. It's intended to be a short series so there will be 5 double rounds on the various track variations available for Brands Hatch and Silverstone.
So grab your helmet and get in your car and come race. See you on track

Cars:

Cars were tested to guarantee that they are even matched.
All cars can be fitted with every part EXCEPT nitrous.
Cars will be limited to specific power and weight. Drivers will install parts they see fit and adjust power and weight accordingly.

Tires: Racing hard + Intermidiates + wet tires

Awesome! Will link this to the guys from last season. It's a shame that the UK tracks are so limited but should make for some great racing again! We ran with Racing Hards last time, I assume this time too?

Yep. Racing hard plus wets :sly:

Team D-MAX - Honda Integra Type R (DC5) '04
GTP: Knight Spirit/SeanWelland
PSN: Knight_Spirit/SeanWelland
Colours: TBA (Probably Yellow ahaha)

My only comment regarding the rules etc. is having the damage on heavy. Although I agree, it does ensure people are racing as cleanly as possible, everyone makes mistakes and your race could be ruined if someone behind you brakes a little too late and runs you into a wall. Just my opinion...

Yeah I agree with Nate here, or even worse if there is lag and you get punted off...

Cars chosen based on their use on the real series.
Let's try some test sessions and see how it goes regarding damage.

Will update drivers list when I get home

Another question? Can we run as privateers? I'd prefer a solo team as if I cant make it/have internet issues I don't wanna let someone down?

Thanks for booting me whoever you are.:dunce:

I asked if you were part of BTCC and you just replied 'y'. I thought you were abbreviating 'why', hence I booted yah.

We've had a lot of randomers joining and getting in the way so had to keep an eye on who was joining.

Very clever of you

  • BMW 120d '04 295 BHP 1180 Kg
  • BMW 330i '05 (Instead of 320si run in real life) 295 BHP 1220 Kg
Based on today testing BMW's power was increased by 10 BHP.
Will look into the Integra question next time.

Also updated OP with a banner with a pic from today's session :)

Maybe next time Integra guys should try the Golf, and vice versa, so we can have a proper comparison of the strengths/weaknesses of both cars, since they are the most popular choices at the moment.
