Challenges are fun, to be sure, but shifter karts at GT Arena is straight masochistic.

No doubt many people do. But some of us find the demands of the Kart races too much of a challenge. It's more than a question of patience and practice.
I am in my 50's, this is very likely one reason. All other races are good and challenging fun, but the Kart races go beyond that and demand what I no longer have: lightning quick reflexes.
Balderdash. I'm 65 and I did it. I happen to know von Stiefel is a good driver and a smart man, so he can too.
Reflexes have little to do with it. Anticipation supercedes reflexes in the racing driver.

Certainly will mate. I've had more amazing races in GT6 a-spec than I did in 5. The tyre restrictions really help.LOL. nice catch.
