Kart beats car!

I just raced the "RACING KART 100" (from the DLC) on the "Kart space I" (from the DLC) and got a 0:40.999 and raced againsted the "Mazda roadster TC (from the DLC) and got a 0:43.629.

Has anyone else raced a kart againsted a car and won in a kart?
 
The karts are lighter so that should have been easy, and I've done 34 second laps in the karts and I could have done better
 
Also, I think that the karts can take those tight corners more smoothly than a car could and that would save some time.
 
Three words: Autumn Ring Mini. A kart still holds the record on that particular track in my games, not that I've been especially proactive about beating that record or anything...

Drifting the kart through the chicane is the best feeling when it goes right!
It`s even better when you`re the only one out of 10 mates that can drift consistently every lap & everyone else if like WTF??? :lol:
 
In some aspects, a kart is faster than a car. If were a high speed course, it would obviously lose.
 
Karts have a much lower center of gravity than any road-going vehicle. Given some momentum and a track with good flow and no slow corners, karts will haul *butt*.
 
It is not impossible to win against normal cars on a track, rather karts have strong advantages over them when it comes to turning the winding curves for their lightness.
 
I race karts in real life and on a kart track, obviously karts will win. And 250cc superkarts that are run on full courses like Road Atlanta or Laguna Seca can run with certain cars with speeds up to 120 mph
 
I have very close times at Spa for karts VS F1's and street cars, only being about 30 seconds off for tuned muscle.
