For anyone that got frustrated with the kart races , get yourself one of the 125cc karts shifter or auto and set up a single player race at Circuit De Spa it puts the U back in fun.

Anybody tried some of the other large tracks for kart racing and enjoyed it.

Eiger Nordwand Reverse is a lot of fun in the shifter kart - Turn 2 (before the tunnel) is flat out but scary, the kart gets real nervous if you keep your foot to the floor, turn 4 (after the tunnel) is almost flat out, you can hold a nice slip angle throughout that whole corner, feels good to do. After that, you're heading down the hill, across the bridge to the uphill hairpin bends. Right at the braking zone is a large bump for the kart which causes it lock it's brakes if you're aggressive, which becomes a handful when you hit the steep incline, but it's manageable. From there you can choose to take the following hairpins sensibly or drift the lot of them by keeping your foot down, bags of fun.

Also me and a few buddies run the shifter karts at Daytona Road course online regularly. Not that exciting in a shifter kart until you get to the start/finish straight, those painted lines are lethal bumps in the kart, expect to do several wheelies and endo's if you give it a go, which when there's a pack of you side by side, is interesting to say the least.

Spa's probably my favourite circuit, but I haven't tried it in a kart yet. I would have assumed it's a bit too big to be much fun in the kart, but maybe I'll give it a shot. I've had a lot of fun in the shifter kart around Monaco.

After getting all gold on the 125 Shifter Championship, I promised myself not to touch those evil machines ever again.
You might be surprised. Around the tiny kart tracks I can understand why people might find the shifter a bit frustrating, but put it on a bigger circuit where you've got more room to open it up and throw it around corners at a decent speed and they can be great fun.

hate karts....hate em, hate em, hate em.....I tried several of the races, one track I even tried 21 times in a row......never finished the races, ever. Hate em....hate em...

A personal favorite of mine for longer tracks is Grand Valley Speedway Reverse, but I'll always prefer Kart Space and GT Arena.

Can't wait for the return of course creator to create Kart Tracks or an update to allow them on the currently restricted tracks.

Karts at Cape Ring are quite a lot of fun too

I don't understand all this hatred for Karts...

I really enjoy them and find the races some of the closest in the game.

Is it a controller issue? 'Cos they're amazing with my Fanatec CSR-E

Karts are fun on the larger tracks, but I get motion sickness when doing anything in the arena. Always turning makes me dizzy. No all-gold cars for me, it's not worth the after affects.
