I need help again. I was given a kart at the beginnng and I am wondering what is it for? Are there any races to use it? Need inputs please.

Yes on the special events there is a Karting event with three series' :) 👍

And you can take it into practice mode and it can be used on kart-only races online.

Ah yes good point 👍

And if you're damn good you can add around 40 kilograms to it and own some compact cars in the world compact car race at tokyo bay kart track.

go race the most competitive races online with it

It's just me thinking that karts are slow in acceleration? As far as i know/remember, 125cc karts accelerate from 0 to 100 in 2 or 3 secs. In gt not even setting a slower top speed helps..

No way they do 0-100 in 2 to 3 secs. where did you get this info?

He prob meens kph and hes right....

Just looked it up on youtube and from a stop after 5 seconds the speed was 28 mph which is 45 kmh so they do not go 100k in 2 to 3 secs

He's is probably thinking of shifter karts. Not sure if they are quite 0-100km in 2-3 seconds seconds fast but here is a video of one beating a Ferrari in a drag race. The 125 in the game is similar to the TAG (Touch And Go) Rotax kart. With an inability to manually select the gear, the TAG's don't like to accelerate from a standstill since (like all 2 strokes) they are pretty slow outside their powerband.

50hp/330 lbs = 500hp/3300 lbs except the 330 lbs has 12 inches of rubber on the road. For an equivalent tire width/weight ratio, a road car would have to have rear tires about 5 feet wide. 0-100 km/h in about 3 seconds, as much as 200 km/h on longer circuits.

In the Shifter Kart vs. Ferrari video note the relative position of the kart at the 27 second mark and that should tell you all you need to know about the acceleration of a kart....and just what you're really missing in karts in GT5!!
