Karting at the Nordschleife?

Has anyone took their PDI Racing Kart 100 around the Nordschleife?
Let alone with a clean lap?
My best (and only time) is 10:51.796.
And that's only with spinning out twice. xD

Man, it is way harder than you think.
If there is ever a car/track combination to implement the "Sometimes you need to go slow to go fast." adage, this is it.

It was fun until we all just started spinning non-stop. I remember trying to drive the M3 GTR race car without headlights around it and it was hell. I guess a kart with a driving line would make it much easier.

I have done a 9:58.7xx with drafting online.
On the 24 hour course that is.

've never driven at day on the track, only pitch black. And I don't know about daytime. Everyone says they keep spinning. I was fine at night. You guys are crazy.

The last (& only) time I did that it was a blast! We had the driving line turned off w/boost set to high. I had the Mini-map on full zoom, it pretty much went from playing an awesome driving simulator to playing an atari game

Still working on a complete clean lap. The damn thing is too precise, as are the over-corrections that lead to my demise.

"Drive slower to go faster" is spot on! I've done a sub 9 min lap with a brief off, but not a shortcut, on the Nordschleife. It's out there, but I'm my own worst enemy.

Draft + longer gear... talking in km/h the stock top speed it's like 136 (draft) but doing that i can reach 155-160

..so yeah it's 100 mph i think

Karting on the 'Ring is one of the game's hidden gems IMO. I had a blast with the one-make race in practice mode.

Can karts be driven in the rain? Now that, would be a blast. Not sure due to random restrictions.

Anyway, i forgot to say that i love to drive my kart on the nurb. It's really a good experience. No hud, the time-change version, you and that little thing in the huge nurburgring.
And yes, i've done crazy things with friends too, Good to see that i'm not the only one
We've done it at night, yes.... BUT with rain, and no driving line. LOL

Oh. I thought you can't change gears on a kart. EDIT: Set gears at longest gear ratio, and able to get 119 mph.

By the way, I did a race w/ the kart but I failed around 3/4 of the course (it was daytime, and had 7 other opponents). Probably because I touched a curb.

Try do the ring in a kart at night and rain!

I did it in the rain at night in about 15 min so I guess that's pretty good.
