Note: I know theres a questionable mods thread but I created this for a reason...

This is the Kawashima Celica. Im sure some of you guys have seen this car floating around certain threads or the numerous stance/drift blogs and thought,"This is ridiculous I bet its a joke." Well I hate to break it to you, but you're wrong. It's real and yes it CAN actually move. Im not sure what inspired Kawashima san to do this but I wont lie...its pretty intersting in its own sense. And he even says in the article this car isn't finished yet.

The car is a joke - just because it actually moves doesn't make it any less of a joke.

As we know - the lower the car, the more camber it has and the less rim the tire covers, the cooler it is. That makes it the coolest car in the world for atleast 50% of this sites members.

I would've said how horrible the car is, but someone will still say that it's tasteful and shiny and stance and camber and shiny. People like this kind of stuff. I have no idea why, but whatever...

I hate it.
It's so amazingly stupid, it's stupid.

It sounds absolutely terrible.

Hit the nail on the head, you have.

Looks terrible, sounds terrible. What a waste of a Celica.

Joke or not, its a joke to me.

This. It's horrific. I quite like that generation of Celica too normally, but that one is just appalling.

I hate it.

Totally agree with you guys; that is one horrible joke of a car :|

I wonder if he's trying to get it to drive on water?

Good times they were :)

^ It's moving isn't it?

:p

Pretty bad car, I now wonder what happens when it hits a curb or something.

Perhaps this is a fitting end to the death throes of the name of Celica. Once great, now a mere shadow of it's past after decades of a long, torturous death-march to the grave. One can only hope all the people who's cars are being described as "slammed", or "hella-flush" die forgotten and unloved. In the event it was unclear, I hate that ****, it's disgusting to me.

So, let's see:

- Creatively challenged
- Stylistically repugnant
- Increased component wear
- Decreased efficiency
- Fart can audio track
- Duct tape body kit

....... you can't explain that.

Seeing this car about a month ago on Speedhunters and seeing it now still gives off the same reaction. What I can't understand is what possess a person to do that. I bet even Hellaflush nuts would call that extreme. I guess the only thing to be thankful for is that this was performed on a Celica and not something else. I could also imagine that the wheel itself comes in contact with the road. This car is definitely one of the main reasons why people say Hellaflush is stupid. Also, all that money going to the suspension and all it has is a crappy fart can? Seriously, I'm sure there is some money left over for a decent sounding exhaust. If not, then I have to say he's an idiot.
