Oh, that's a nice photo. I wonder if the woman Kaz is walking beside with is asking him questions about GT6's flaws. :p

I would be surprised if she even knew what a Playstation was and if I'm honest, that looks a like a event where Kaz is the only one that knows what that is.

Wow Gordon Murray would tower over Sir Stirling of Moss, like Gandalf over a Hobbit.

All good photos

As if being a video game pioneer was a simple, unimportant and ordinary thing...

That's my point though, two decades ago he and his team made a game called Motor Toon Grand Prix that few have played or remember. Now they have a platform that influences the auto and motorsport industries. Quite staggering how far they've come.

Of course video games as a whole are seeing this sort of increasing influence but I'd argue that what Kaz and PD have gone with GT is particularly special. Thier involvement with the Pebble Beach awards. And SEMA too. The relationships they've forged with the auto manufacturers. And the Vision GT project. And the GT Academy program. And their partnership with the FIA. And their work with the Senna Institute............

In the run up to GT6 Kaz kept saying they wanted to use Gran Turismo to blur the lines between virtual and reality. My word they haven't half done that, pioneers indeed. I think it's just brilliant. Makes it all so much more than just a game. And it makes me forgive them whenever the game itself has silly bugs or delayed features :p

They have been pioneers of this genre of video games since GT1. Maybe now they "apparently" lost the lead due to the old machinery they've been working on for the past 10 years, but... Lets see what they can do with the PS4.
