Seem lots of people seem to rant on about worried about updates, not listening to us etc.. Read on.

Eurogamer: What's not perfect? You said on stage you're going to be upgrading every week, every month – what specifically do you want to work on?

Kazunori Yamauchi: That's sort of a surprise we're keeping for the future. Once games go online it's no longer the type of thing where you just make it, hand it over to the players and they go out and play it. Games will keep evolving.

Now it's released we're going to have several million people who'll become citizens of Gran Turismo. From here on we have to listen to their voice and see what they want and change the game accordingly to match their needs. So Gran Turismo really is just at the starting point, it's really the beginning and we're just going to evolve from here.

Kazunori Yamauchi: It's like a living creature, dynamically growing as we speak.

Journalist: Why did it take so long? And what is yet to come to perfect the game?

Kazunori Yamauchi: All the parts of GT are very difficult to develop and there's quite a gap between just completing something and perfecting it. In the process there's a lot of work involved between and sometimes that means getting rid of what you already have and starting afresh. That's what took the longest.
As I mentioned, we're already doing an update on the 27th to refine the usability of the game to make it a better experience. I think it's going to be hard to find an end to that process

Change your mind yet? What's it gonna take for y'all to not worry about GT5's future ?

Well I am not really worried about just my enjoiment of the game, but I'm also worried PD's reputation, goals, and skills.

With the release of GT5 being clearly "too soon", its just a shame that the game is in the state it is in. The fact that PD isn't at least admitting to flaws or informing us what they may be improving on is worring, at least to me.

Simply saying "we are working hard" isn't going to cut it anymore for them. They need to prove it.

That article was posted right after release & in that time we have seen updates, new challenges, higher rewards & finally being able to back up game saves after people complained that GT5 killed their PS3s & lost their save.

Looks like Kaz. has been listening to me.

Apparently your the online one :) Oh that's right he is supposed to fix everything at once with one big 5GB patch.

Then listen to " 5gb OMG i can't believe he is using up my Data Allowance like this "

" OMG i can't believe the power my modem is chewing through downloading this update"

And the rest..... Like they say " You can't please 'em all "

They need to prove it.

Did u download V1.05 ? I mean seriously dude ? V1.05 had a lot of useful things that people had asked for did it not? Now he is God-like and can fix everything at once ?

If everyone made negative threads about my game, in a language I don't fully understand, for the sole purpose of self-worth complaining.

I probably wouldn't listen to them either.

Best thing i have ever read on this site, you sir have made my day 👍

Not the first time that interview has been posted, and not the first time someone has accused someone else of "not listening" here on the board.

Doubly locked.
