You have to read the statement in the context of the situation (read: marketing point of view).
That's what i also mentioned before - that it was the best classic title!
LOL... He'd better had said GTS is his favorite. What a dumb a** question to ask Kaz. Sport hasn't even been released yet.
Ask him after 7's release and Sport's inevitable demise for dissing the general public. I just hope he's working on 7 to be released by summer 2018.
Wait a minute... is he working to create a new ligitimate, globally recognized esport? Good luck with that
In other words, the first full gran turismo for each new playstation.
Yup, he cain't even appreciate his own attempt to improve upon his original releases. It is really sad that this man is unable to appreciate how the part 2s (2, 4 and 6) were improvements over the part 1s (1, 3 and 5).
What he did right:
Street, tuned and race cars in one game, a non-rivaled variety of cars and venues and an in-game course maker.
Where he failed:
Dropped some very important cars from Lister, Vector and Venturi, from the line-up, for twin-cloned Mazdas and Nissans.
Letting go some of his patronage's favorite circuits instead of adding on new tracks.
Not prioritizing the course creator to remain in-game.
My biggest regret:
He never allowed us to free hand the races... by using more than one garaged car in the arcade mode or fill in the race rooms with AI driven cars from the other garages.
It's almost as if he takes 2steps backward for every step forward.
lol I dont thimk any one that left for pcars, ac will be back. the physics are horrible in gts. looks pretty though, ill give it that.
At first I thought this was marketing hype but after spending a good amount of hours with GTS and the different betas, I agree with him. I'm an older and cynical gamer and I haven't felt the rush and excitement GTS gives in years, maybe decades.
The cars in each game handle differently. Obviously AC is the best if you have a wheel, but if you don't tgen it sucks. But actual racing on AC isn't as fun as GTS imo. PCars is a little too twitchy, but is a solid game. But honestly, GTS is about as close to real life as AC. Just a different tire model. The BMW M4 feels super realistic.
