I didn't read all of them, I just saw a post about the DLC being free. I'm sorry for someone letting me fool into the DLC being free.

Sorry for OT as well, this doesn't belong in this thread.
 
I'm glad that we're getting a new modern GT class race car because there aren't many options if you want a premium car that isn't SuperGT or Nascar. Yes, it's one more GT-R but it's an awesome car and I think it has an awesome livery. I wonder if the racing gear pack will include Kaz's suit and helmet also.
 
In the official Sony post there is a race modded RX7 behind the new GTR...

Just missing:

- fixed draft (adjustable at least)
- same improved physics online / offline
- leaderboards (at least to some 200-300 cars if to all is too much)
- matchmaking
- replay info (parts, tuning, car specs)

These 2 were supposed to be in the game in the first place,but at the moment we still have yet to see them.(oh and i don't count the leaderboards that are updated every so often for online)

Today, I am very pleased to announce details of Functionality Update 2.0 which is the most sizable since the game launched. The update will be available for download on the 11th October. Of course the real bonus of all of this new content is the fact that it&#8217;s all absolutely free!

That GT-R doesn't have the Shulze Motor Sport livery. It's probably from the current version of GT5?

EDIT: by clikcing original size it looks like an impreza '10 RM, but not the rally styled one. Plus on the right i'm pretty sure i can see an R34 with a livery :)

I think so. But I'd also like to see completely new cars that aren't in GT5 yet in Racing Livery.

Wow, mad props to PD for making it available so early. That's less than a week away! :bowdown:

At first I was pretty underwhelmed about the the update info but after hearing it's coming earlier than I expected, I just got excited again. :D

P.S. That screentshot with the RX-7 race car is amazing. I'm looking forward to driving that and the other race cars the most out of all this. :drool:
