I wish twitter would melt down, most people don't even understand how it works, and then their trying to tweet and decipher japanese. We just need a developer forum with feedback.

I can speak a TINY bit of Japanese. Just a tiny bit, I can't read the kanji but if I use a dictionary I should be able to figure them out.

Any idea what Kaz's latest tweets are about? My Twitter app mentioned 'update' in a (very rough) translation...

Yeah, that's what my phone translation said too, I imagine there's better human translations to be had, though. Is there a new bug like the old museum cards save size issue I wonder?

I know its pretty terrible translation and he's more likely than not talking about the best way to make cheese and ham toasted sandwiches but its the best we've got until someone can translate it better.
 
I'm guessing that having custom soundtracks, or something contained in custom soundtracks, is killing something within the game, perhaps online play or race loading screens.

It also appears that he acknowledges that PD will try to address it on the next update.

After the last update, it seems like the game has become super-unstable (for me, atleast). I've tried all sorts of fixes (I clear my cache before playing, re-install, clean disk, etc.) with no luck, so I assume its a software or firmware problem.

Expect PD to introduce a new title at Gamescon. PD has mentioned that the EU would get priority, and everyone was expecting an announcement at E3. Gamescon is the next logical opportunity, and if we don't hear anything then, it'll probably be delayed till xmas or next year.

Thank you for the news. Perhaps a case of the memory being not sufficient exists. Custom soundtrack ensures 1MB of memory consumption to separate life and death like that. What [???] in the next update.

Kaz has an odd use of hiragana and kanji. Makes it a bit more difficult to translate. Second one was much easier though.

It was actually just a rumor. There's still some hope perhaps, but not much. Wait... EU gets priority? There's even more hope, then. It said that EU is being privileged with the next title, or whatever, so it makes sense for it to be at Gamescom.

Good job with analyzing the Google translations though.

New title? I guess it's a sort of GT5 edition for PS Vita.. Anyway thanks all japanese users in here finding the time to translate those tweets for us. Considering what happened some months ago, we know it's not your priority, so thanks for all your effort and best wishes.

Gamescom seems likely. There's just nothing certain about it. Oh how I hate speculating. My brain is exploding from everything I speculate about the future. I think this forum combined with PD + GT is supposed to make people speculate about everything. :grumpy:

I'm at the point that I want to start a campaign to get Kaz off his fat butt to start fixing the issues that PD have caused in v1.10. The constant disconnections, the amount of times that you freeze and wait for up to 5 minutes for the game to load up your garage, or do settings, or set your driving options, is driving me 🤬 INSANE!!

If we can start this and get the ball moving this might drill the point home in Kaz's head to get up and fix what he broke!! So if you have a spare 20 seconds, please go to his Twitter and say the following sentence (copy & paste if you need to):

FIX THE DAMN SERVERS PD!! FIX THE DAMN SERVERS PD!!

This message x 100000 might drill the point home. Do you dare take the challenge?? :dopey:
