I look up to Kaz. I wish I was more like him in that he sets his standard so high, he strives for perfection where perfection isn't possible. This man might die and still think that his work could've used some refining there and there. Also, despite what some people might think, I know that this guy doesn't do all that he does for the money, he has a legitimate passion for cars and for what he does, and thanks to that, and thanks to his quirks and often silent character we get games of such quality as we do.

Gaming is and has been very important for me in my life. I can say that GT has changed my life and it has helped me broaden the maybe smaller passion I have for cars and motorsports myself.

Basically what I wanted to write. The guy has a vision and tries his very best to make it happen and while doing that, he changed the face of video games as we know them today forever. I only wish we could see more people like him emerge in the industry but it probably won't happen because of how huge budgets for games have become.

I also really like his attitude and the way he approaches thing (call it old school or however you want) you know that with each product he and his team put out you're going to get something truly special.

I can only wish to meet him one day and like all of us GT fans from all over the world tell him how thankful I am of what he's done for us, the gaming industry as well as automotive one!

👍

Kaz is one of a dying breed of games developers that have been pushed out the way by corporate giants wanting fast results, minimal expenditure and maximum profit.

I have maximum respect for the man as he battles on through the corporate press jungle and bad comments to deliver the purest racing simulation experience know to man. He hasn't changed and he shouldn't, we need men like him to remind us of what the games industry should be about.

He isn't about profit, he's about delivering the best and innovative game he can with the current technology no matter how long it takes it has to be perfect. I'm sure he'll find something wrong with GT5 and go on to overcome and better it in GT6. Its a refinement process, he perfecting the series which he created.

I think Kaz is a pretty cool guy. eh makes weather and doesnt afraid of anything.

Sorry, this thread begs for this statement and I could not resist. I very much respect Kaz because he strives for perfection and always does what he believes to be right for the series. I believe he genuinely strives to make his product the best he possibly can instead of looking to cash in on a half hearted attempt. This can not be said for most game developers who push out games at a rapid pace.

Kaz is the best man i have ever seen i am just learning computer programing and well i can barely make the computer say hi in dos and he can create gt5.

I took two programming classes in the past and it is a very complex and tedious process. I have a lot of respect for what programmers do. However, Kaz is not a programmer. He is the lead designer at PD, so he basically gives the team directions, oversees, and makes sure everyone is coordinated and on the same page.

Well he use to make games himself (before PD started), he said that himself in some interviews.

And designers have to understand the possibility's and how it works.

Of course his self made/one man games weren't so hardcore :D

True but he must have knowledge on what is going on or is he just a buisness man?

Kazunori, Hideo Kojima, and Chuck Norris.

There are none like them. If anyone comes along to fill these shoes, then God will have truly blessed us.
