Anyone got old games they keep just for one thing?

I keep Dirt 1 just to drive Pike's Peak sometimes and Grid to do the demolition derby (and because I like my team colours!)

Gt5 is my favourite just for a random drive, love it in cockpit view with all the displays and maps turned off...

Hehe. I have pretty much every game I have ever bought. I even buy copies of important ones (goldeneye, zelda, gt1/2/3/4), I keep old consoles, memory cards, rumble packs. I also buy alot of old games on eBay. I play through final
Fantasy 8 on probably a yearly basis. But no games for one particular reason.

I still have every game i ever bought, from a weird donald duck game on the gamecube, to gt5. A while ago i did grid again, and i personally tought it looked even beter then gt5

I don't like the idea of trading in games for a quick buck; it's like you never appreciated the game at all.

I did however trade in the Ratchet & Clank: Crack in Time that came in my ps3 bundle for $30, used that to help pay for God of War 3 on release date, which I then traded in for Super Street Fighter IV for free. I'll buy myself a copy of GOW3 again when the price goes down, because I still love that game.

Now I make sure every game I buy is a game I would definitely play over and over again. Hot Pursuit 3 and Marvel 3 are some examples.

Yes, I hoard old sports games especially, never could justify trading it in for a few bucks. Besides my shelf looks more complete when I have every consecutive year.

When I was a kid though I traded all my games and consoles in, I've only started keeping everything after PS2. If I could go back I would have kept everything.

Yeah I traded alot in the past and now I really regret it.. I have times where I randomly feel like playing some game I used to have and then remember I traded it.

So my policy now is that I'll only trade or sell a game if I absolutely hate it, and I don't buy games I'm not going to like.

I still have all my old Nintendo and super Nintendo and n64 games somewhere. Still have all 3 consoles but my nes had its power adaptor fry itself and my snes got power surged. My n64 works but I have no clue where all of it is. Still have an old first Gen PlayStation with an xmem memory card (the one with 50 virtual cards built in). I don't really have any working games though, they've all been ruined. My original gran turismo disc lives on as my ps2 soft mod boot disc. Still use my 10 year old ps2. Plays everything perfect as long as it isn't too scratched. The tray recently got damaged so now it opens so slow that if you don't help it out it'll shut itself.

Oh yeah, for the nes I have the arcade stick with Turbo mode and 1-2 player switch. I never used it too much and I don't think my dad did either when he got it so its still really smooth

I don't trade any games in now. However, I have done the opposite, I bought the first Toca Race Driver on PC when I saw it on the bargain shelf two/three years ago, just so I could drive the MG-Rover ZR and MG-Rover ZS.
