I did a search, but nothing came up. Some interesting news that a TV series is going to be made:

2007 Telepic/backdoor pilot

On September 26, Variety reported that NBC is readying a two-hour backdoor pilot to air later this season, perhaps in place of Heroes or Bionic Woman reruns in the spring.

Dave Andron ("Raines") is writing the pilot script, Doug Liman and Dave Bartis ("The O.C.", "Heist") to produce.

Variety reports that "Transformers" inspired Ben Silverman's decision to revive Knight Rider because smallscreen effects are sophisticated enough to have a weekly series with shape shifting cars.

The show is expected to remain focused on the story of a single man fighting for justice with the help of his advanced car.

Cool news if it does indeed come to happen because I loved the original series. Any thoughts or opinions on cast and characters. William Daniels has to return to voice KITT, who I assume would now stand for Knight Industries Three Thousand, and the perfect car for KITT, the new Chevy Camaro.

And if William Daniels doesn't do the voice, I'm not watching it.
 
I don't know who is watching this but this is just painful.
 
Its not great thats for sure, too much fake BS, and all the in car crap is lousy. Its a cool idea, but they're just not pulling it off. All I've seen is the beginning 30-40 minutes and to me it seemed like a really long Ford commercial.
 
It sad, I really wanted this to be good. Hopefully the movie is better.

I can't wait till the day that the entertainment industry realizes that the public doesn't really enjoy rehashes of every old thing they've already done. It's ridiculous. What's next?

I watched it and it was pretty good, can't wait for the next one.

I do enjoy the old knightrider a lot though, watched all of the first season :D
 
Ya my Dad wanted to watch it, I saw until the first commercial and couldnt watch anymore, it was too lame and just not worth any of my time.
 
I liked it, but it better get better in the series (if there is one) if I'm going to watch past the third or so episode.

I'm referring to the re-runs of current shows, not the actual original Knight Rider.

+1. Show was ok, but it will need to get better and focus more on Kitt.
 
I saw it and I think I like it.
I hope it will get better.

wtf are you on? This KITT is a Ford Mustang, the other was a Viper. Viper pwnz the Mustang tenfold.
