It's a movie about a fat slob of a guy who gets a successful, attractive girl pregnant.

I loved it. Like the 40 Year Old Virgin, the dialogue is what really makes the movie funny and real. Seth Rogan is a really funny guy, and Katherine Heigl is equally charming. Paul Rudd's hilarious, too - is he ever not?

At the very least, go see it because it has four cast members from Freaks and Geeks in it.

I loved 'The 40 Year-old Virgin' and people are saying if you liked that movie, you'll like this one, too.

Can't wait to see it.

I might go see it.

This line in the commercials made me laugh, esp.
"I'm pregnant."
"Oh, that's terrible, I don't wanna do that."

Wasn't sure how this would be recieve but I guess it seems positive. I'll see it but I don't think in the theaters at least.

Me and my girlfriend really want to go see this one, but I have to drive to the neighboring city to see it. Looks worth it though! 👍 I'm going to try and see it this week sometime.

Crap! 👎

Ok, not total crap. Some laugh-out-loud funny lines. One where he's worried about what the first thing his child will see is, another where a one guy is concerned about the hair left behind by his room mate in the bathroom.

But this is the stereotypical guy does nothing wrong but has to change everything about his life / girl treats guy like crap, guy apologizes type of plot.

This movie is nowhere near as funny or charming as 40-year-old virgin. It's only compared to it because the actors are common to both. Otherwise this movie would be completely forgettable. There are a million things wrong with the plot.

1) Why wouldn't he use a condom?
2) Why would she want to keep his baby?
3) Why is she better off trying to make a relationship work with a guy she barely knows?
4) ...and this is a big one common to most chick flicks... if every marriage in this movie is destructive and all married people in the movie are totally miserable, why would anyone around those people even consider marriage?
5) He has to change to accommodate her while she's a b*tch to him. The only possible reason I can think that he'd be willing to try to make it work with her is because she's hot.

If you want to see a movie with overprotective b*tchy moms, whipped men, and some of the scariest children this side of the exorcist, then this is the movie for you.

Conclusion
Funny at times, but not worth trying to stomach the plot.

Edit: Kudos to the movie for taking some pot-shots at E! reporters.

I loved this movie, but then again, my sense of humor is always a bit out-of-step with other folks. My brother and I noted on our viewing that it pretty much is the story of the two of us (no, we don't have children), he definitely being the character who does "the knocking," while I being the one portrayed by Paul Rudd; Married, needs space, good sense of humor, doing his best...

IMO, the best part of the whole movie was when they were tripping on Mushrooms in Las Vegas. The chairs? I may have peed a little...
