I remember on the last version of GTP, I used to love checking out 'Users Browsing this Forum' because they were ranked by join date and members like 'ScarySquirrel' and 'rjensen11' were always first in their forums because they've been here so long.

And I saw me, 6075, and thought, "One day I'll be the oldest member browsing a forum, and I'll laugh at all the newbies who joined after me." And I was happy for the rest of the evening or morning or whatever.

But now it's done in no conceivable code, maybe by number of sensible posts made, and I'm always, barring none, last. User 13500 could be browsing in a forum and it wouldn't matter - I'm still listed after him.

So that's why I used to love it.

You could say I hate it now, I guess.

It's ranked based on last activity. Given that for you to view the page, you must have had the most recent activity, you will always be last on your screen.

But it's not a question and comment!! It's a general discussion about the 'users browsing this forum' icon! You have the worst judgement in moving threads; that Barry White one is now rotting away in the music forum when it was so clearly supposed to be in the Rumble Strip.

Your issue was feedback about GTPlanet, hence the move.

The Barry White one, being about a Musician (of sorts) belonged in the Music Forum.

The only reason I didn't move the Wild Horses thread was because that was some raving of yours, and you were counting on me spotting it as a U2 lyric.

Plus, we both know Chris would've come in and closed it within hours.

And my brilliant analogy was if there was an explosion in a theatre you'd move it to the Movies & TV forum on similar logic.
