Looks good Krame. I also have a method to keep the calipers from getting blurred too, but the process is just way to long to make a tutorial, and I've only done it once or twice myself.

lookin good cream ;) im gunna try that technique sometime. maybe after my next update 💡 speaking of my next update keep an eye out for it, i wont say much about it but i can tell u i spent more time on this one than on any other update i've ever done :) anyways enough about my update. when is ur next one comming up? is the photographer ok after getting hit by the car? the guy deserves a nobel prize or somthing, risking his life for that shot

Well, that car looks VERY, VERY out of place in it's enviorment, but cool nonetheless.

EDIT: (When I say out of place, I don't mean that it's photoshopped badly, it's just that you never see that car in those kind of places.)

^^ Precisely what I thought,, Perfect.. It looks very good.. car is nice and clean,, and I love the way how the light curves in the direction of the car. Very good work:)

👍 Great shot man! The car looks great with some awesome reflections, but the background... I'm lovin' the blend of light and colour! Great stuff, keep 'em coming! :dopey:

Very nice, in previous pictures you always blurred the background but you did totally no blur to the car. That results in very clear edges like the shadows that seem to be completely seperated from the background.
In this latest Trueno pic this is not the case, but well as I said, try to blur the edges of the car after you motion blur the picture, so you will rub the car back in it's environment if you get what I mean, it looks more complete that way.;)

The car looks cut out funny to me. It's a great concept and all... But I'm not sure dude, it looks weird in the front. Did you try 440 Charger's layer hint? Like duplicating the blurred layer with the car cut out and then merging that and then resume to the rest of the photoshopping? I think it just looks weird around the front. Great idea though, I might try that.

looks very good man, i really like the idea and is that smoke it see? very cool! i think u shouldve blurred the edges of the car a little bit. i cant wait to see more man! 👍

You know what, I just thought of something. You should try blurring the shadow of the car seperatly from the road blur. I noticed the white lines on the road went under the car's tires, and its looks like it's not completely on the ground.

Thanks for the comments guys, alot of mixed feelings about this one.

PERFECT BALANCE: Yea, I know what you mean. I totally forgot to cut out the shadow with the car. I blurred it with the background and road. Probably why the car kinda looks disconected from the picture.

Pink_the_Floyd: The drift is seen by the blur direction, the counter steering wheels and the smoke behind the car.

reminds me of Tokyo Drift because of a certain' scene in the movie...but to say again, that blur effect gives it a nice touch with the 'drift' motive

That's exactly why it looks weird. And like PB said, you should try blurring the shadow, but make sure you maintain the edges of the shadow. I have done it several times, (particuarly with Tourist Trophy) and it turns out very well. It's a very similar technique to blurring the background, you just have to basically do the opposite as you would with background. Same concept though. If you want help on how to do it, let me know.👍

cream, i just took another look at the AE86 shot and something just hit me, im pretty sure it wasnt something a co-worker threw at me but i think that u shouldve taken another shot with a slight pan with the car dipping in the direction of the first and pasting it on to this shot with the blur and smoke to make the car look like its experiencing bodyroll caused by the drift. just my 2½ cents.
