La Sarthe and Spa ,weather report and other " stuff "

@LANDO here is my settings from TT laps that usually am doing to set cars for the race .
At FM1 and AT gears should pull 3 laps .

Its very tricky car and am not pleased yet but anyway that's what i got right now.
Move the weight one digit in front and the pp goes crazy .

They are two versions ,both are fast but the most critical thing that i notice chasing my ghosts is ONE , you must find the exact ( short of ) braking points .
There's a lot of difference if you brake " right " than early or late .

Both versions have High rpm turbo and racing gear box adjusted ONLY at 320 khm and brakes at -2

Am at 52's with both which means in race 55's-56's won't be such a difficult task .
Of course with higher FM you can choose your strategy depends on weather radar 😂 .

The aero is B in front, diffuser and rear wing at the rear .
As about wide body i don't use them so i can't tell if there's any difference and am not willing to find out .

Waiting your impressions if you run them , i play on controller using ONLY buttons 😱 .

Thank you for taking your time to elaborate such a good reply!

Always a pleasure to help members and share things that make our lemans life easier.

My 911 (09 ) swap is faster there but only there and i have the feeling that Jag will be fast and in other tracks.

Here is my take on it...

Didn't do any TTs, just 3 races so far.Best racing lap was around 4.05 on RMs and FM1...but didn't push too hard.
Didn't get one competly dry race either, and some interesting weather situations...

From the stats it looks a bit slower than the version from smoothebore12...and more on SUV height it seems
(I am using controller using triggers)

Good luck @LANDO , by mistake i post same tune in my post above but i correct it so now are both versions that i run .

Note that too much ride height affect top speed .

@jrbabbitt bring it on .
I will try both settings. I just wanna get rid of that boat sensation when it brakes

Otherwise I have a brand new stock 696pp Ferrari 330P4 that just does the work fine 🤣

Couldn't resist the temptation .🤣
I swapped another one Jag but this time didn't put full weight reduction since at my settings i put ballast and it's about the same weigh.
Plus i save 300K 🤣

The purpose is to test it with or without diffuser at the rear and play with different aero settings without mess the same car.
Also this car has and an energetic LSD which i really don't know how it works but definitely has different behaviour by using it 🙄 instead of the fully adjustable one .

Anyway i didn't expect to get hit again by Lemans virus but this car is a challenge that i can't resist.
Also after many months i put difficulty at easy in case of rain to save 7th lap .

I tried mine today and I like the challenge of driving it. You have to brake in a straight line otherwise starts to float like a boat. 2 laps started to rain and when I entered to pits I see I didn’t purchased the rain tires

For sure the behavior is the cars depends on the type of LSD installed

Edit. Now it goes like a bullet. With the 2 ways LSD. Best car so far I’ve tried for 700pp Lemans. Grinding time. The way of driving now is such a pleasure, it rotates great.

Here's another version of the beast to try, non racing tranny and custom LSD save some PP and I seem to have found a bit of an aero glitch. 7th gear at 367 kph and it will peg it! Wide body and fully lightened.

Yesterday I took a break from fast cars on Hard to one slow run on Easy. The little Honda 2&4 needed a shot at a post 1.59 run, this time at 107 Hp because of worn oil. Long story short, didn't get rain until early in lap 4 so the inters were pretty worn, just steady rain through lap 4 no monsoon. Caught the leaders as they pitted beginning of lap 5 and hoped to hang on. They gradually started closing the gap and would have caught me but they pitted again to switch from wets to inters. The track dried quickly during lap 6 so lots of puddle hunting to save my tires. One of the more difficult things I've done in this game, driving a slow car as hard as possible whilst saving fuel ( FM3 @ 107hp) and tires was pretty stressful. The 30.19 over all is the quickest low Hp time I've ever done! I'll take a break from low HP for now, there's no other car in the game that can get under 110 HP and has the pace of the 2&4. Maybe low PP next?
